me and my girlfriend found out we had chlamidya about 2 months ago. We were both treated, but she is worried about it coming back, she is pregnant and worried that the dose didn,t kill the infection. If this were true how long would it take to be noticeable. I noticed a stinging minutes after our first contact. can it lie dormant for 2 months?

firstly, did she get pregnant b4 it was found or after taking the med's?
The 2 tablets (or one) that you take to kill the bacteria (not virus) works within one week..and you should get retested after 2 weeks to make sure the bacteria has left the body.
Not because it lies dormant (this does not happen with Chlamydia), but because sometimes the tablets fail to get rid of it completely.
Chlamydia doesn't decide to come back, it would only cause symptoms again if it wasn't killed the first time. It is possible that maybe one of you still have it, which simply means you have to take more tablets.
Remember, Chlamydia is not a bad STD if treated early....
