right people, i have had my problem for about 10 years now... i get crazy pains in my belly, pains that your average person would cry over, pains that no normal pain killer can get rid of... only reason why i can deal with is is cos i have become used to it and expect it.. worst time is when your driving on the motorway (thats highway for ppl in u.s.) and there is no turn off for 20 miles!!! i get alot of gas... normally when eatin beef, sprouts, beans, well prettty much when i eat or dont eat but more when i eat those things... teh pains go or reduce when i pass wind... i do a number 2 pro once or twice a wekk, have gone over 2 weeks without a number 2.... im starving but cant eat or feel sull fter few bites...

i think i have gastro problems and acid problems, followed by ulsers and maybe even a paracite... now humans need to eat and i want to be able to eat thats the main thing i can deal with the pain... thing is i eat 1 huge meal b4 i go sleep only because i have a smoke with stuff and i get muncies its keepin me goin now i fnk im addicted not to it but to have it to make me want to eat!!!!

oh i can go days without eating whats with that and i love sleepin i dont get things done because i feel tired and too lazy to move!!!!

I have also been dealing with this for the last 10 years. Three years ago I was put in the hospital after three months of pain and I actually lost 30 lbs. They told me I had pancreatitis but they couldn't tell me why I had it. I don't drink, don't do drugs and no gallstones. I do have severe acid reflux. It still bothers me and the only thing that actually helps is not eating for a couple of days and drinking chicken broth..I hope this helps ..Try a low fat diet it sucks but it works.

Wow, seems somewhat similar to my problems. I am male, it started around when I was 9-10, first it seemed as just bad constipation but then it included dull pains little left from navel. Now I am 34, episodes get worse and it seems not eating anything or little bit few days relieves it. Also walking seems aggravating and laying down for full days relieving. I am losing weight though already thin. Upper gastroscopy was ok last time, have to do full scale tests. Pancreatitis might be worth to check it seems.

I have a friend who's 16 year old daughter has been sick for 2 years now with similar symptoms. They finally have diagnosed her with SMA Syndrome. They found it with a CT of her abdomen. I have read a little about it since the diagnosis yesterday so all of this is new to me too. Several articles come up when you google it. Good luck to all of you ladies.

Im over seas on vacation in southeast asia and a week in and Im having stomach pain for two days now only when im standing or walking around but goes away when sitting or lying down......I drink bottled water and stayed off the street food. I dont have the runs so i found this page where someone was having the same issue.. It sounds to me like Blastocystis Hominis as someone posted, just because i just has a colonoscopy and an endoscopy done to me last month before i left and all was normal.... im going to take this Ciprofloxacin to see if it resolves this issue.....if that doesnt work i will try Azithromycin I will keep you all posted....

Hello all...im back to inform you of my status after using Ciprofloxacin. It only worked for a couple of days before the stomach ache came back.. I did not try Azithromycin as it is almost the same as Ciprofloxacin, so i decided to see what they call a quack doctor. I guess iis what we call a herbal doctor. It was worth a shot as I was ready to try anything and tired of this stomach acwh that comes and goes within the past 5-7 years. The quack doctor told me to blend one fresh bitter melon ( to a liquid ) and drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

The taste and smell was horrid. Smelled and tasted like my lawn... It was disgusting but i was able to down it all....good note is to chew gum right after to preventing me to throw up. The next couple of hours I had major diahrea....it flushed my system. on my 4th hour.....no problems....so far its been a week and no more issues.

This sounds exactly like me a few years ago. After every meal I would get a horrible pain in my abdomen. Nothing seemed to relieve my pain except for laying in my bed and curling up in ball. I went to several gastro doctors, who did several tests and blamed it on my diet. Seriously, everybody thought i was crazy! Before I knew it I couldn't finish a meal, and then just stopped eating all together. After losing 15 pounds my doctor finally did an endoscopy and colonoscopy. They discovered that I had a sever case of gastritis, and unfortunately that I had Crohn's Disease. I was only fifteen at the time. The gastritis and Crohns disease together was causing me pain so severe I was unable to function my whole sophomore year of high school. Now a senior in high school, I have been forced to finish my junior and senior years home schooled due to frequent episodes and hospital stays. Crohn's disease is incurable so I can only hope to someday go into remission! Also, my doctor told me everything gets worse with stress! I would ask your doctor about gastritis and if this could be what is causing your pain. If he says your blood levels are normal ask for other ways to check for it!!! Trust me, they told me my blood levels were all normal and after the endoscopy they were shocked at what they saw! Doctors aren't always right. Another tip, try to stay away from certain foods like nuts, popcorn, spicy foods, and dairy. You'll be shocked at how hard some of these things are to digest in your body. Good luck everybody, I hope you all feel better!!

I have had the same issue for about 6 years now, too. It started when I was about 18 and every morning when I would wake up I felt perfectly fine, until I stood up. When I stood up it felt like there was all kinds of painful bubbles moving around in my stomach. It hurt so bad that I would have to get ready for work sitting down. The only thing that would slightly make it feel better was eating peppermints, they soothed my pain and would make it bearable for me to continue at work, but the minute I ran out of them the awful pain would come back on in full swing. I finally went to my doctor after living like this day after day for about a year and she said she thought I was suffering from acid reflux. I didn't think this was possible because usually you would have pain laying down or sitting down with acid reflux, but she assured me that's what it was. She put me on a prescription called "Pantaprozole" (It's the off brand version of Nexium) and told me to take it once a day. Honestly, I am not one to take medicine, but immediately after I started taking this all of my pain went away. It took about 4-5 days to take full effect, but it actually worked! I stopped taking it after about a year and hadn't had any issues since until a couple weeks ago. I am going to go back to my doctor and get another prescription filled so I don't go through this again. I hope this helps all of you because it seems like we are all going through the same things. Talk to your doctor about it, it will probably cure almost all of you! Good Luck!

I had problems with pain in my stomach/abdomen after eating. I couldn't do anything for several hours until the pain subsided. After researching on the internet I found that it may just be low stomach acid. A simple solution to the problem is to take a little lemon juice right before eating. So now I add a few drops of lemon juice in my water and sip it before having a meal. It works great! No more pain at all. It's really strange that such a simple solution could have such a dramatic result. I still burp quitte a bit after meals though but if I drink more lemon water that goes away quickly. Only problem with this solution is that it tends to make me very, very hungry only several hours after a meal. Anyways, I've been doing this for several months now with success.  haven't tried eating without the lemon juice for several months as I'm scared of the pain returning. Please try this very simple solution and see it if helps.

I have had stomach problems my entire life! When I was seven years old I got so sick that I had to stay in the hospital for nearly two weeks because I couldn't keep anything down and for no apparent reason. When I was eleven my gastroenologist pin pointed my gall bladder and I had it removed. Later on the pain moved down to my lower right side, they found my lymph odes were swollen(they called it something), but besides that my overall symptoms of IBS and lactose intolerence had gone away until this past school year. I'm sixteen now and I'm scared to eat and go out with friends. My stomach pain has moved from the right side to everywhere, jutting out in a stabbing sense at my back and sides. I've lost thirty pounds, roughly, over this summer because I can't eat and when I do, I puke- or it comes out the other end( being blunt). I've cut out gluten, milk and meat- nothing. My doctors have done ultra sounds, endoscopies, colonoscopies, blood work and even table tilt test- nothing. I'm starting to lose hope, and that's not like me. Anyways, you're not the only one out there. I know of, at lest three people personally with similar things. Oh, and I read someone else's post and I agree, they do blame it in IBS or Acid Reflux. I've taken medicines and regulators for both of those too, again nothing. Haha:/ I'm interested in the medical field, not exactly of this one, but maybe of research in general...who knows maybe we could all find a common variable and all be researchers. They say if you want something done right do it yourself.
