I was wondering the same. I have been having this issue after the age of 38

Trust me, there is zero arousal with me on my period . It's wet like urine not like a usual orgams discharge.

Well I've been getting the same thing and I don't use tampons.. Petty sure my pads aren't turning me on. ;) Besides I've never been one to 'cum' or 'squirt'. Ever.. So who knows.. Maybe it is that for some but I think there might be other reasons.. :/

Hi everybody. I am having the same thing. And I have a friend going through med school atm and she says it's fine, just excess fluid from heavier flow. Nothing to worry about unless it has an odor or seems like pus. Hope this helps

Thankyou for sharing! This is sooo frustrating! I am relieved tho to find out it happens to others, is that bad? If I find out anything I will post it, making an appt with my OB/GYN today, hopefully I'll get in soon. Good luck to all and God bless!

Hi I have been getting this too, and I always thought it was just the tampon making me "wet" asif i was having intercourse. Not sure if it is, but it seems to make sense that having something up your vagina all day moving around would cause the vagina to self lubricate...

I think it is a common ovarian cyst. We experience them monthly but occasionally they get very large and burst where we notice a clear-ish liquid that soaks through our tampons. I was having a strong urge to pee 2 nights ago. I felt like I had to pee every 30 minutes and my period cramping was pretty bad. I also felt an odd pressure in my abdomen. This morning I woke up to very wet underwear even though I had a super plus tampon in. And the pain is gone and so is the urge to pee. You still might want to check with your OB/GYN (This is a Dr that deals with women's reproductive organs) to make sure it isn't something more serious.

I'm sorry but when using a cup how on earth could it be urine? Do you pee from your cervix?

I have PCOS and I noticed that i have the same issue. However today I removed my tampon and a gush of clear fluid came out. I will be going to my dr.

That's exactly what I thought but I've been wearing tampons for years and this is the first time this has happened, so weird that we have no answers .

AND everyone who has asked their doctor about it wouldn't have gotten an "I have no clue" answer.

I'm 17 yr old and my period was 5-6 days earlier than usual. This literally happened to me when I woke up an hour ago. I woke up slightly to turn off my alarm on my phone, and rolled back over to go back to sleep. But then I realized I was wet? So I went to the restroom thinking "Oh no I really hope I didn't bleed through" only to find that my entire pad was soaked and the back of my underwear was covered in a light pink color (my guess is fluid and blood). I get my periods every month, never had too many problems besides missing a day or two or having really bad cramps. My periods usually last about 6 days and today I'm on my third. I haven't really experienced any bad cramps or headaches or anything, if anything it barely feels like I'm onot my period at all.

This has been happening to me for years! I have no idea what has caused it and have never remembered to ask a doctor. I'm a healthy mid 30's mother of two and have found a diva cup to be a good replacement for tampons as it seems to prevent this fluid leakage issue.

I read somewhere that is is Cervical fluid and that sometime right when your period starts your body makes so much of it that instead of being thick like normal it thins out and it can pass your tampon. Sometimes it is an indication that you can be fertile. Idk just writing what I read.

This is also happening to me. Clear odourless liquid with heavy period pain. I also have PCOS so it could have something to do with it.
