I am currently 22 yrs old and I have had a small bb-sized lump on the front of my left testicle right under the head of the epididymus since I was about 16. Since I first discovered it, it may have grown slightly, but not anything significant.
About a year ago, I went to the doctor and he ordered an ultrasound. The diagnosis was exactly as follows: "Fluid and venous filled sacs around the scrotum. I am recommending a one time visit with a urologist." The tone of voice with which this diagnosis was given to me did not indicate to me whether there was concern of not.
I never made an appointment for that "one time visit" because I have been very busy with school and everything. Also, I have noticed a much smaller but still palpable lump in sort-of the same position on my right testicle, which made me assume that there was less cause for concern.
If you have any advice on what the diagnosis could mean I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
