I'm a 20 yr old female, and for about 11 or so days, I've had really bad headaches on and off that came out of nowhere, and over-the-counter meds will not do much help. Now I have this constant head-throbbing around the back, left-side of my head. I also have nausea, and my stomach feels very uncomfortable, as if I have a bad stomach ache. I'm also very tired lately (due to feeling sick, and not getting good sleep), sometimes I feel light-headed, and it feels as if there's phlegm in the back of my throat I have to cough up. Sometimes I'll feel hot, as if I have a fever, but I take my temperature and it is normal. I just feel so awful lately, and I am not sure what is wrong; I'm really concerned, especially about the head throbbing. I plan on going to a doctor most likely tomorrow, but it would be nice to get some feedback from anyone beforehand.
i have no idea why dat is and im about 20 yrs old too nd i feel the same way... :(
Ive been feeling exactly the same as this lately. iM 23
Do you suffer with your sinuses? I recently had a nasal infection which triggered me off to actually being sick and ever since then ive had exactly the same symptoms as you. The phlegm in the back of your throat maybe the fluid from sinus build up, i have that constantly and its gross.
I get quite a lot of colds and hayfever which triggers off my sinus problems (or the other way around) and i end up with a stuffy nose, blocked ears and red, watery eyes on an almost daily basis and just end up being so tired all day and even get neck and/or back pain along with it.
The worst thing about this is the headaches/pressure in my head. I get the typical tingling/pains in my nose, cheeks and forehead but some days the pain and pressure affect my temples, ears and even my jaw and neck and i get extremely nauseous.
I do suffer with anxiety but i feel like my headaches at the moment cant be to do with this as ive had one constantly for at least a month. Do you get any shooting pains or is it a constant dull aching? I also get the feeling hot thing you talk about and theres been a couple of times were i get so flustered i think im going to pass out.
The doctors generally just give me nasal sprays/antibiotics when my symptoms are at their worst but have only just referred me to an ENT specialist after 7 years of me complaining and im also booked in for an MRI which ive got in around a months time but becuase of my anxiety i really worry that it could be something more serious.
