My nausea was all from my jaw and neck and back being off. It took 6 months of appts to finally get it adjusted properly and the nausea went away
Im a 61 yr. old woman with the same symptoms. I've been sick
for 2 months not getting any better. Could be the
Epsteinbarr virus. I've had it before

I've been sick for the past 3 and a half months, constant nausea, headaches, irritation of the eyes, excessive tiredness and soreness. Does anyone knows what the problem could possibly be, I am a freshman in high school, I'm only 14 years old. I do not think this is normal for a girl my age.
you went in with physical pain and they gave you lexapro? fire your id**t doctor. also - the major side effect of the drug you were prescribed is the same condition you went in with.
IM only 14 and I’ve been feeling so nauseous for the past 6 months. It has stopped me from skating and I’ve been a figure skater for my whole life. After visiting the hospital 7 times they finally told me it was just anxiety. They emitted me with something called functional dyspepsia and anxiety. I searched up functional dyspepsia and I saw it was discomfort after swallowing. I don’t get it after swallowing. Acid reflux does run through my family strongly but I’ve been told I don’t have it. I’ve actually noticed I feel the most full and have no appetite when I feel the most nauseous. I’ve been dating that it might be an issue with the digestive track or something but nobody seems to listen to me. It really sucks because I do feel anxious when I get nauseous. Which is why I think they say it’s anxiety. I start to feel nauseous then get angry and anxious that it keeps coming back.
i’m 16 and i’ve never been so miserable. nausea non stop for years has completely ruined my life. i’m running low on options, every lab comes back normal. i’m at a complete loss. if anyone has any thing that can help or any ideas please let me know i’m desperate at this point.
You need to get help guys. Everybody on this list almost mirrors eachother and what i feel every day. We are all suffering from anxiety/health anxiety. Read up on it, get selfhelp and you will start to realise it sounds exactly like us. We have anxiety, uts not a sentence we just have to learn to deal with it, i am just starting to realise this and am still scared by physical symptoms but life is good everyone we just need to find the right way to live it again. Good luck everyone
Do you still have nausea? Did they figure out what it was?
Have you been checked for gallstones or low % gallbladder functioning? I had the radiation test done & mine was @ 7%. I had gallbladder removed next morning with surgery & felt 100% better immediately. Been great ever since.
I'm 32 F and I've been having constant nausea with a taste change for 2 months ongoing now. It appeared out of nowhere, I was sick in April 2020 with some illness fever, body aches, and nausea for 4 days.... then in June 2020 I've been hit with nausea and taste change. I've been to the GI dr had a ct scan, and upper endoscopy, and labwork and nothing came of it, except for some mild inflammation in my stomach and duodenum. My GI wanted to put me on desipramine, thinking I have a hypersenstive stomach that's causing my nausea, and she thinks that a tricyclic antidepressant would help the nerves in my gut and take the nausea away; however, one day on that medication and I felt like I was having a panic attack, I woke up in a pile of sweat, my resting heart rate was in the high 90s when it's usually 50-60 range, and my head felt funny, it was horrible and I told her I couldn't take it. All she said was to stop if the side effects were too bad and I haven't heard anything else about where we go from here..... (that was this past week) ....... I don't believe it's hypersensitivity, I'm not a GI dr, but what about the bad taste change???.... that started with the nausea and it's hard to explain, it's just a bad taste and almost like it's sensed on the left side of my mouth/tongue? It's strange and I've never experienced anything like this. I'm actually going for a brain MRI in 2 weeks, since I have a hx of headaches and sporadic pain behind my left ear, so with the taste changes and constant nausea added on, I asked to have a brain scan. I'm a nurse and a couple of my coworkers instantly said they think I should see if it's neurologically related. If that's negative I'm going back to my GI to see if I can have a nuclear test to see if my gallbladder is functioning, it may appear normal on CT imaging, but is it working??? I can't live like this!! I've never been so ill in my life. I'm about to lose my nursing job, I will be filing for FMLA, I'm also a nurse practitioner grad student and I'm worried this sickness is going to ruin my life. I'm lucky enough to have somebody who is willing to take care of me if i can't work, because my nausea is CONSTANT, every MINUTE of EVERYDAY, it'll have varying degrees, but it's nonstop! All I do is sleep for peace and relief from the nausea, and when I'm awake, I barely eat, I drink green and ginger and peppermint tea everyday, and I'm miserable and crying a lot, I'll just start hysterically crying because I can't stand constantly feeling sick to my stomach. I've even thought about ending my own life lately because this is an unbareable existence feeling this sick all the time. MEDICATIONS my drs put me on omeprazole, linzess for my ibs c, and i tried zofran no help for my nausea, i tried reglan no help for my nausea, i took compazine and it helped for about a month and now it's not helping anymore.... and of course the tricyclic for one day that gave me horrible S.E. I don't understand why this is happening. I worked out all the time before, i'm 5'2" 125lbs, i never eat fastfood, i just don't understand how i'm so ill i can barely get out of bed anymore. I need this to stop! =(
I'm replying to myself.... now at 4mo constant nausea, I did see a small change when I took macrobid from the ED, they said maybe I had a uti but we're doubtful, as were I... I had no uti symptoms, anyway... I took it at midnight, and after a horrible nauseated night trying to sleep, finally feel asleep and woke up at noon with an improvement of the level of nausea... seemed odd, but I was hoping I was going to get better.... it was like a 40% improvement.... but it's just stayed stagnant and it's been over a month since taking the antibiotics.
I have a new gi dr I'm seeing in 2 weeks, I will be asking for a GES, stool/parasite test, and for a SIBO test since I have so many symptoms of sibo for 12 yrs that has just been labelled as ibs.... maybe its actually SIBO... If nothing comes of this I will probably see a chiropractor.
Interesting ive read about this taking nausea away.... and in response to the person who it helped and suggested it here. Thank you. I did hurt my neck last yr badly right in the spinal area, it's worth considering....
At 4mo of constant every min of the day sick feeling in my stomach, I've been severely struggling to cope. I've lost the joy of living and cry everyday... the suffering that's endured is unthinkable and hard to believe it's possible. It's taken over my life completely. I try to go for walks w my dogs and eat amd drink and sleep, but the constant sick feeling robs me of who I am and all that I was. Quitting grad school, been out of work, but I have to return soon... I dont even know what to think about anymore, other than feeling sick. I used to think about what I needed to study for school, or saving money for my dream car, or working out, or what I wanted to buy for the holiday, or where I wanted to ride my motorcycle, where I wanted to go out to eat, or get my hair done, or my lashes done, go shopping, what movie I wanted to see.... simple joys of living and life and none of it seems to matter when your non stop sick to ur stomach and cant find a cause or way to feel normal again.... this truly has been the worst sickness I've ever come across...
sigh :( wish you all well_LaCole

hi everyone firstly i want to say im really sorry to everyone who is experiencing this terrible feeling i am 18 years old and for about 1 year now ive also been feeling constant nausea that just dosent go away, it started of randomly 1 day when i started to experience this nauseous feeling and pain in my lower right abdomen. At first i thought it was appendicitis but when i went to the doctor they said it was gastritis so they gave me some medicine to reduce stomach acid which did not help. i still felt bad and nauseous so i went to another doctor and this time they said it was GERD and that my symptoms should go away however they didn't, ive been to multiple doctors some of them just guess others do not even care ive been to one doctor who was actually really helpful they done a gastroscopy and found bile in my stomach and said i have bile reflux, he said i should drink apple cider vinegar and that it should get batter but i feel as if my nausea is getting worse i even get abdomen pain in the upper right left and middle and sometimes i feel really tired. i havent actually vomited which is what im terrified of i have the biggest fear of vomiting i try everything i can to prevent it. i just wanted to ask does anyone have any suggestions or can help me because this is truly ruining my life i feel depressed and terrified everyday i have no motivation to do anything, im not sure what is causing this because ive been told by different doctors that its different things from GERD to gastritis. thank you for taking your time to read this i hope you feel better and have a great day
I had a gallbladder removal 5 years and still hurting since then what can I do?
Hello, I think it sounds like divroticulitis. I think everyone says they’re weak or you’re going to be weak if you’re not getting any nutrients and not eating just a thought I was wondering if you’ve been checked for this yet
I have! I've been dealing with this for months. Anytime I go out or go to see my family. I start feeling nausea. I feel like I've been going through this a long time. I can't even go to school at this point. It's hard to eat as well. Everytime I eat I feel nausea but I don't even puke. I just feel intense nausea. I've been drinking water because apparently water helps because sometimes it's just dehydration! Everytime I take a water bottle and drink. I feel completely fine afterwards but, it comes back. I'm drinking more water and feeling more better. So drink up!
