have you tried using a water based lubricant when you have sex to make it a bit easier?

It didn't burn when I was on my period it started happening before. It would be a little swollen and the pain would last for a while after having sex too. But somehow it made the inside of my vagina a little hot so I don't know if that was because of the medication and I would be really dry. It burned like if I was bleeding if that makes sense.

I think what your experiencing is a yeast infection without any discharge and I would in get it checked out :-)

I have just read up on cephalexin and it says common side effects are yeast infection of the vulva and vagina, symptoms selling of the labia possible itching of the vulva and vagina and burning sensation of vulva and vagina.

I would say to yes to be 100% sure on what the cause is, say you have looked up the side effects of cephalexin and there very similar to what your experiencing :-)

I feel like I have always had this same issue, burning during and after sex. I have been to so many doctors and gyno and ultrasounds blood tests, std tests, internal exams, Pap smears- so many tests!! The doctors just seem incompetent and like they have no idea!! Currently I am lying in bed with a cold washer on my groin to relieve the burn (and this is after fantastic sex with an amazing supportive partner!) while I can describe the sex as great, I still had to say half way in that I can't last much longer and that we should finish soon because I could feel the burn begin. I have noticed that the more turned on I am the less intense the pain is but no guarantee!!! I don't have burning during urination and it is definitely me (experienced similar things with previous partners). The only other oddity is when I have my period and do a poo I get stabbing pains in my uterus region... And always in the first phase of a relationship I don't have any pain??? Like for the first 3 months. Basically I want to enjoy sex with no fear of pain!!!!!
