Hullo, there.
I found this forum and went through many similar related threads. I thought it would be better if I state my case and have a professional help me out, please.
I am 21 years old and I've been relieving myself basically once a day for several years now. Recently whilst I'm supposed to study for my exam, my imagination takes over. I get aroused but don't relieve myself. This has gone on for six weeks and during the third week my problem started...
I have this irritation at my left testicle. It's a burning (supposedly inflammation) sensation right behind my left testicle. I don't feel any lumps, but I can definitely tell the inflammation comes from a tube which seems to be larger than normal. First I thought it's a semen tube that is infected, but doesn't that mean I would get headaches and such? The only other 'pain' or ailment I have, is that the area around the testicle and part of my upper left leg also aches when my left testicle aches. The burning sensation comes and goes. It doesn't go away and doesn't get any more painful or irritable. I think the tube is in fact a vein, as it looks like the faint blue-ish vein you'd find on your arm, for example.
I would have gone to a doctor already, but the problem is that I then need to tell my parents, as they pay for the medical scheme and obviously need to know if I visit the doctor. I cannot tell them about my problem, so I’m hoping there’s something I can do about it on my own. My question is what would you say is wrong and what can I do to rectify it? Would you recommend I tell my parents and visit the doctor instead? Please help and give me advice. I’m really worried, don’t know what to expect and don’t know what to do.

There is nothing you can do on your own because it is really impossible to say much without seeing and feeling your testicles.
It could be inflammation, it could be dilated veins (that usually don’t hurt) but these things need to be looked at.
This probably has nothing to do with masturbation as bacterial infections just happen (unless they are an STD), so if talking to your parents means seeing a doctor, then it is your only option.
A doc may run urinalysis to check if there’s a presence of some kind of microorganism and if nothing was found, he may order an ultrasound which would enable him to look at the organs in the pelvic region and possible figure out what the problem may be.

Any chance that you take adderall or another stimulant? You mentioned the studying. You're describing something similar to what I have, but its not on any side effect charts...
