Hello all. I've been reading these posts and I have a question to ask. I am 42 years old with 5 children and I do want another child badly. I've read that you all have tubal ligations "clamped" and/or burned and had been able to still become pregnant even with ablation. According to my doctor, my tubes are burnt and cut. The procedure was done 16 years ago. I do not see a possibility of them growing back. It would take a real miracle if I were to become pregnant. Just wanting to know if anyone whose tubes are burnt and dissected have become pregnant. I know I'm fetching. Just wanting to see if it's possible so that I can have some hope.

I had a tubal in 2005 and ablation done in 2007. I have three daughters ages 14, 12, and 10. Now I have a son that will be 6 months on the 12. The pregnancy was VERY scary. I had a lot of complications during my pregnancy and labor. I had my daughters natural and my son was born via a c-section. Due to all the complications I had during my pregnancy with him I also had to have a hysterectomy because of all the bleeding I had during the delivery. This is my story I love my children but do to the things I had to go through for starters just to hold this poor kid in my incompetent cervix I would highly recommend that no one put them selves or their unborn child in that circumstance

I was wondering how have your pregnancy gone so far for you. I had my tubes tied in 2005 and an endometrial ablation done in 2010, I am now remarried and my husband really wants us to have another child, although I have 3 from my ex. I am scared to try but really want to. Do you think that it is a good idea to give it a whirl?

I had a tubal done November 2011 after I had my 3rd daughter. My husband and I decided we didn't want anymore munchkins. I have always had very bad periods and always on time no matter the stress (parents divorce, army life deployments, family problems). I had an ablation done in March 2014. It knocked my 12 day periods down to a very light 2 days. I completely skipped last month and am now a day late this month. I haven't taken a test yet and after some of what you ladies have experienced I am a little scared to. The docs originally said I wouldn't get pregnant again with both procedures done (course both procedures were done by army doctors ). Any advice?

From my understanding from the ablation it can grow back which is why every few years its recommended that it is repeated. Then with the tubal it is not 100% and can result in tubal pregnancy. I had a tubal done 5 years ago and an ablation done 2 years ago, since my ablation my period went from 12 days to like 2 days of spotting. This is the 2nd month I have missed my period, I am nervous to take a test. I plan to take a test just to be sure. I would take a test too just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

I had my tubes tied 4 years ago. I haven't missed a period at all but in Feburary I started gaining wait around my mid section and thighs. I have gained 25 lbs so far and it's only been 4 monthes. My boobs have gotten bigger also and are tender. I don't eat very much and have been exercising and taking diet pills yet I am still gaining wait. Very consurendex about the possibility of being pregnant. We already have 4 children and were in not way considering another. I'm scared. Any ideas?

I am having a similar situation I had a tubal ligation 15 years ago and just had an ablation 6 months ago. I am 40 days late on my period and have sore breasts and some light cramping. Also peeing alot more than normal. I have not taken a pregnancy test yet. The idea that I could be pregnant seems rather silly to me but I have heard that tubed can grow back after 10 years.

Was there any supplements taken. I would love to child bear one last time. I've had both procedures done ready to welcome baby. Any insight on what should be done to help my progresson would be gladly appreciated.
