My labia minora are so long that it seeems there is no way to have sex unless I use my fingers to separate them every time. This is very uncomfortable and a hassle. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know any ways to not have to do this?

I know this is an old post, but I want to reply anyway.

I see two problems here---one, that it is uncomfortable, and two, that you view it as a hassle.

I'll address the 2nd issue first. Why is this a hassle? It takes all of what, 3 seconds? It's NORMAL to have to separate your lips before penetration. It's not a big deal. No guy in their right mind would view it as a problem. Actually, I've heard many times that it is a sexy sight for a guy. You know how you have to help guide a man's penis to your entrance? Is that a problem, for you or him? No, it's just the mechanics of sex. It's the same thing. Not a big deal in the least unless you want to make it a big deal. And please don't use porn as a reference point. Porn is not real life, and in many cases it's downright ridiculous.

Your other issue, that it is uncomfortable--do you mean physically, or mentally? Is it that you are not sufficiently lubricated enough to separate your lips? I have large labia too, and yes, if I were not wet enough, it might be a little uncomfortable to pry them apart. When you are really turned on the whole area blooms and opens up. If you are sufficiently turned on, there should be plenty of moisture seeping out, and between that and the blooming I mentioned, it should be rather easy to spread your lips.

If you mean mentally uncomfortable, well, that would be a head game you are subjecting yourself too unnecessarily, because like I wrote above, it's normal and natural to need to take a second to adjust your lips.

How can you avoid this 'problem'? Wait until you are really turned on, and learn to be accepting of your normal, healthy self. Or you could have your inner labia reduced/removed by having a labiaplasty, and subject your normal, healthy body to risky, permanent, unnecessary surgery, removing healthy erogenous tissue and thousands of nerve endings, risking scarring, nerve pain, disfiguration, lousy results, and regret.
