Ok, I haven't ever really looked down there before but periodic itching drove me to investigate.
I've noticed one vulva lip is larger and a purple colour. This one is very soft and I'm fine with that one. The problem one is the smaller one which seems to be around half the size as the other, only pink and not very soft. it sometimes itches as though its dry but nothing will make it stop.
I carefully inspected it and realised the edges of this lip are strange and I'm a bit worried as i can't research it as I dont know whats wrong with it. I will soon see my doctor I think but want an opinion.
Basically the edge is jagged, like its been cut of something, but its been like this forever I imagine, theres been no bodily trauma. however, it resembles the taste-buds (imagine them enlarged). It has ups and downs like a collections of little bumps, however this is the lip; its not like disgusting spots or anything. I have no idea why the one is so small and looks so... incomplete. it hurts and its these little jagged ends of the lip that cause the itching I've realised.
is this common and does anyone know what it might be or mean? Would I need surgery because I want it smoothed down the itchiness is p*ssing me off. If I could be a bloke itchiness down there wouldnt matter I could scratch away. >.<

Hi honey! It sounds like 1 of these 2 - either a bad yeast infection or a allergic reaction to scented products or bleach - like a panty liner, tampon, maxi pad, underwear etc. So the best thing to do is get it checked - so you can start either over he counter yeast infection medication - creams and suppositories! IF you don't want to go to a doctor - give that a chance first - try the 7 day one! It has suppositories and cream! Also I read your other post and check out the side effects of the pills you are presently on! MANY pills can cause yeast infections! Give this a try and let me know OK? Good luck honey!
Thanks, yeah I'll check it out. I asked the doctors if I possibly had a oral yeast infection but they laughed it off and said no so i didn't bother asking any further as I've never had a full body check so I'm not prone to wanna jump at the chance for one. It's just I also thought with a yeast infection the general area would have symptoms rather than one inner lip. =/
Also, there is one side of the body generally bigger than the other right? Mine is the left side, but at the same time its the left one thats smaller. It's weird. I'll try that cream stuff out though thanks.

It could just be an allergic reaction, but it also depends on what side you are really scratching! Also you CAN have oral thrush! That is silly to say no! Check Google images for Oral Yeast infection or Thrush!
They looked but had decided before looking because theyd already laughed. Its a bit white on my tongue but not very much. The doctor said it as actually very red compared to most other people. =/
I dont know what id be allergic to. ive never had any allergies besides hay fever which lasted 2 years and might have been just vasomotor rhinitis. It happens periodically, just some time after my period and not for very long which seems a bit systematic for most things. Its more so the shape and edges that bother me as I think this is directly linked to the problem of itching. My general health is ok and my cleanliness is extremely high. I'm paranoid about infections and such. i'm a virgin. I dont use tampons, I only use soft, airy boxer type pants. I cant think of what problems Im causing really. =[

Then I am really leaning to a bad yeast infection! Try the 7 day treatment - suppositories and cream! See how that goes OK
