Are you a 100% with that. your saying that smoking weed DOES NOT raise your cholesterol. It will only raise if you eat a ton after smoking because of the munchies?

Hi I am 64 I eat well I have been exercising for 34 years plus I run 5 times a week i do not Drink or smoke anything and have not for over forty years and my LDL and HDL are a little high like yours I do not think levels have anything to do with cannabis I have not found any studies that show that it effects your levels my Doctor said some people do everything right and still have it .... there are many other factors that can be considered from what we are exposed to from our work our environment our heredity just some thoughts good luck

Is it possible the answer is dehydration? Our bodies increase Cholesterol to help protect cell walls which must remain wet. When there is not enough fluid intake, this could be an answer. Don't get cottonmouth.

Hi guys, your high cholesterol is probably attributed to a condition called familial cholesterolaemia. This is basicallly genetic cholesterol. A family member from previous generations had it in their genes and passed it onto you. Cannabis oil will reduce it dramatically. Better this than the lifetime of pharma drugs the doctors will prescribe to you. We (including myself) can handle a higher cholesterol rate than people who don't eat well. Hope this helps.

Like your reply. Excellent advice. More and more research is showing that it us not just a cholesterol number causing cardiac issues. This is a conversation I have with my PCP everytime I go in. I refuse statins due to side effects.

I am not sure you necessarily should attribute it to smoking. My LDL has been high most of my life. When I went through my college years and smoked all the time, that didn't affect the LDL levels. Now that I don't smoke and eat pretty well, my cholesterol has gone up and I don't smoke. However, I have been treating with a holistic doctor. I have a malabsorbtion issue. My body produces the correct amount of cholesterol and I eat well, but my body didn't use it the way it's supposed to so it accumulates. Maybe you guys are having a similar issue.

Daily smoker here...bout 15 years running. My blood work showed low LDL and low overall cholesterol. Doubt it’s the weed alone, maybe genetics?
