I'm 17 and I got chlamydia last december. I did get treatment, but I was on a 7 day pill, I took the pills, but after like the 4th day it made me sick and I threw up about 15 minuetes later. The doctor said that throwing it up would mess up the way the pills work. So I got another prescription of it, and again I was down to about my 5th pill and got sick from it and threw up again. My symptoms got alot better, but I also had some un pretected sex after wards and might have got it again. I also am not sure if it was gone from the first time. If I did have it for the whole time, it would be about 8 months. Could my body, having it for this long, cause infertility for me ? ... even though I did take some pills ?

You should be retested at your annual pap smear for chlamydia to ensure that it was successfully treated.

No, I wasnt hopfull that it would cause infertility for me, nor would I try to use it as a form of birthcontrol. I was afraid of that, not being able to have children when I'm older would be very hard for me to deal with. I have just heard and read before about how untreated chlamydia can cause problems and disable you to have kids. Are the chances of that happening high ? And do you know if there are ways to fix the problems or make them better if the damage is already made from the STD ?
