So hey, I'm a smoker, and I've been having this problem as well. Not so much a cough as an irritating tickle in my throat. If I'm being honest, it scares me. I've smoked since 2011, but I've switched to my vape purely here recently. Should I be worried? I'm afraid to go to the doctor to find out.
I have the same symptoms. i cough when i took a deep breath. I sometimes cough when i talk if i ran out of air. I went to my doctor and they even had me xrayed but its normal.they just gave me meds. But still the same. I cough when i talk or take a deep beath. And yes i smoke

Agree. I too have this one and I can tell the cold air is the issue. I wanted to have good oxygen when I go out, so I decided to inhale...triggered the dry cough.

I have had a dry cough for over one year. I have had a lung functioning test and have seen a ENT doctor and no reason for cough found. I cough when I inhale and exhale deeply and when I laugh. Sometimes when I cough I gag. I have tried inhalers, cough suppresants and antiacids with no relief. This cough is tiring for me and distracting for others. Any suggestions on what to do?

Try this test 3 times; with your mouth open take a fast deep breath if you instantly cough every time you try this most likely you have bronchitis and you need to check it out asap to get on some antibiotics because it can turn into nemonia.
