Persevere with it. I'm on day 15 and ivelost 10kilos to date. I do 20km of bike riding. 50 step ups and drink nothing but water.
Think this c**p is useless. (for me).. have been prescribed 15mg and after 4 days ahve put ON 1kg. I am not misbehaving, my meals add up to 1200 - 1400 calories for the most part (made error one day on 1800 calories). I walk briskly for 40 - 50 mins each day, drank mainly water (hit the sugar free pepsi max today though as I've been so hungry I have to put something in my stomach other than t he masses of water). I've been teary also - I think this stuff is a total dud for me. I've doubled my own dose today. Feel no different at all, no drama with sleeping (I never sleep wonderfully anyway). I cut out bread, pasta, rice and any cakes/sweets as per doctors request and have NOT faltered, at all. I have metamucil morning and night (extra fiber supposed to help with feelings of fullness)
Doctor wouldn't give me one of the other options available due to my hypothyroidismm (even though the drug is not supposed to be used for hypERthyroidism, which I don't have). I think I'll have to renegotiate on my appointment with him in 10 days

Sounds like your doc has pushed you towards low carb diet just remeber if you are cutting carbs out you need to add fat to your meals otherwise your body will store any and everything you put in :) google LCHF diet you might be pleasently surprised i dropped 15kg in 3months by eating LCHF :)
