Electric shock feeling thru whole body

Hell sounds like a good time I want to be part of this dancing craze that we can go sweat up the nation. I have noticed on my side it makes my body feel better when I am dancing for some reason. It's been a crazy couple of years I almost got shocked by lightning so close that I seen all the power in it and felt it i really don't think it hit me but then again I don't excatly how far it carries itself neither. Pharmeceuticals cause them. Prozac and especially cymbalta-that was a horror show- have caused it to me. Even clonidine i take for high blood pressure causes them. The politicians are bought by pharmeceutical companies therefore politicians allow alot to get through

Thank you thank you, I was thinking I was losing my mind. This is my problem my gp discontinued my cymbolta for my fibro an I have had this happening every minute of every day for a month now.

Has anyone ever experienced the sensation as a wave of tingling that can be felt slightly prior to building then traveling through the whole body? Sometimes I want to throw up and get a weird taste in my mouth.

In fact, I came here to look for answers cos I thought I was the only one having this problem. What am going through is exactly the way you described it except that I have been feeling this shock since I was a kid. Now I am 43 yrs and still having this problem. These shocks have been very regular in the last few days and I desperately need an answer. I am not on any med and I have no pain in my body, so what could possibly be causing it. ABOUT TWICE A MONTH I HAVE A SUDDEN JOLT IN WHICH MY BODY COMPLETELY STOPS FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND. IT IS ALWAYS PAINLESS. I HAVE TWO ANEURYSMS--- AORTIC AND ABDOMINAL AND THEY WERE DISSECTED ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. THESE SUDDEN SHOCKS CAUSE NO PARTICULAR PROBLEM, BUT ARE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND.

This was helpful. I awoke w. the feeling electricity going through my body. I've had migraines w/&w/o pain, vision disturbances, etc. Never thought this body feeling could be caused by the same, but it makes sense. Thanks.

I have read all of your posts and I’m not sure i have the same thing but very close. My electric shock zap happens only once in a while but still often enough to say 3-5 times a day when it does but only twice a week sometimes. It starts when I cough... like a quick electric shock in my nerves and in an instant travels down to my toes. Im worries about it because it’s growing with intensity. Any thoughts?

I should also say that I’m a hypothyroid patient and going through peri menopause. I’m a 39 year old female and a stay at home mom to my 18 month old. I halso have a blended family with 4 teenagers.

Yes I have it all the way down my spine to my toes in my arms now I’m starting to get shockwaves through my whole body and yes no rotten was the old medication until you get adapted to it and now it’s a gabapentin and now it is Lyrica and now I am my body is getting used to the lyrical now and there is nothing else that I know of it’s really bad feeling if feels like that I was on the operating table and I was dying in the use those paddles want me to wake me up in my whole body was shaking everywhere I had it since I was 21 years old and I still have it and I’m 53

I feel like an electric tingling zapping like restless leg syndrome throughout my body. Not on meds. Started 5 years ago about half way through first pregnancy. Taking extra magnesium and potassium do help but honestly what works best has no scientific basis, and no I don't mean prayer although I do practice that. What helps me during sleep is to put a bar of ivory soap at my feet under the sheet touching at least one foot and hold one in my hand while sleeping. I know this sounds so odd and I did not believe it myself at first as I am a skeptic, but I am very pleasantly surprised to see that it works. Again I do not knowthe science behind it,but it has helped.It has to be bar soap but even the dollar store brand parcel works!It's like the soap somehow blocks the current of electrical shockenergy prickle feeling. The effect is almost instantaneous, the first time I tried it the shock feeling was gone within three minutes, but when I would move away from the soap or put the bar of soap downthe shock feelingreturned within one minute.
