I'm I just read that it took 4-5 months for all the discharge and odor to go away after uterine ablation? I'm having pinkish/brown watery discharge a week after my procedure. And I'm literally so uncomfortable I don't want to leave my house! The pads, the discharge, the cramping, the odor. It's so uncomfortable and I had previously read that it would last for 6 weeks. So I had some hope that there would be light at the end of the tunnel. Then I read the months post and I'm literally freaking out. Can anyone please clarify this? I had nova sure and a laparoscopic tubal ligation. Thank you in advance.
I had this surgery 4 weeks ago and I have had two C-sections and mines the same as yours, I have the yellow discharge now too, mine stopped for about 24 hours and then I lifted something up and its started all over again
I had it done August 11,2015 and I didn't have any discharge for 2days. Then, its watery but not bad. I really don't think it has any odor either. I only took tyleno 3 a few times but mostly ibuprofen. Its Aug 18 and I still have it but not so much. They said 2-3 weeks
Had my procedure 10/29/15. The cramping afterward was mild but became severe on the days following. But for me that was normal as I had very, very heavy cramps and bleeding that is the reason why I decided to have the procedure in the first place. Now I am dealing with the watery discharge and I'm sure it is a result of my uterus healing after the ablation it was burnt... so far I am very happy with the results of the procedure and I would recommend it to anyone that has serious menstrual bleeding issues.
Hi I know you had your ablation a long time ago but did discharge ever stop please let me know. Thank you
I'm very new to puberty, I noticed that after gymnastics when I took off my leotard I had clear watery stuff. I assumed it was discharge. I read articles and it said that this can happen after excersising. Is this true?
I can answer that I had mine on January 21 2016 and I'm not having a heavy period but yes far as the discharge and it does smell can't wait to go for my 4 week check up to inform my doctor
That watery diacharge almost feels like I'm wetting myself in small amounts like 14 times a day and absolutely no tampons or sex until it stops pretty much sucks
No tampons for a week
If it smells then it's time to call the doctor. Discharge that smells is a sign of infection.
U can't use tampons after this procedure to lower risk of infection.
Same thing is happening to me. Had ablation a week ago. I won't come off my pill to see if bleeding let's up until this gross discharge stops. How long does it take??
Tampons cannot be used for about 4 - 6 weeks. No swimming, taking baths, etc until your doctor gives you the OK.
I had Ablation 3-4 months ago....still having some discharge periodically.....is this what happened with you?
My EA was November 2012, four years ago. I still have watery discharge. There is no infection, it's not necessarily smelly, just yellowish fluid that can be a bit slimy. I tell myself it's better than bleeding, but it's tiresome to wear a wet panty liner all the time. I just went back to tampons, at age 60.
