excessive mucous in elderly patient

I gave my mother musinex and it helped a lot. she had that for a month.

Im a caregiver to an 82yr she has same condition...I took her to an Ear Throat and Nose Dr he said it's common for the elderyand they make a specific nasal spray for that for the elderly. Also with my mom she uses a nebulizer with saline solution and helps her out a lot

Thank you, i am having the same problem myself and this morning I just about choked because of the phlem. I did mention it to my Doctor who said it was my lungs. I think I am going to have to work it out myself. I appreciatie all the advice given on this page, and I am also looking into Yin Yoga, to aid me.
