I had due to ovarian cancer, since it comes from the fallopian tubes, my ovary with a tumor on it removed at age 28 after having 2 children, ages 1 and 5, and BOTH of my tubes removed a week and a half ago. One ovary left hanging onto cartilage to avoid early menopause. Ive been wondering since we now have had similar surgery's if hormones could be effected. I haven't been or felt like myself since.

I had left Fallopian tube removed March 2012 due to rupture ectopic. Had baby girl March 2013. Got pregnant again, left ovary released egg and my only tube on right caught the egg! Miscarried. Got pregnant again unexpected and had son Nov 2015. I felt normal with one tube removed and obviously my hormones were fine to conceive unexpected 2 more times after birth of daughter. I just had right tube removed to prevent further pregnancies and to avoid all the hormone fluctuations tube tying causes. Got out of surgery yesterday. Feel normal still.

It didn't affect mine. There are many things that impact periods. For instance if a woman were on the pill her periods would be normal schedule. Also, age impacts us. The tube only shuttles the egg. It does not release hormones. I take a dose of magnesium 250mg pill each day to keep everything regulated.

I dont have one tube can i lift up heavy stuff?

My doc said not to carry heavy things at home so i was wondering it almost a year ago now can i or not?

Nothing over 10 pounds 2-6 wks after surgery depending on if you had traditional surgery or the laparoscopic. Laposcopic is faster recovery.

For tube removal my doctor said only 2wks nothing over 10 pounds. If you have no other circumstances to affect your lifting then you should be fine.

These are the exact symptoms I felt after having my right tube removed due to an ectopic pregnancy. My only add on is that 10 days after surgery I continue to feel a dull pressure/pain after urinating.
