I had my right fallopian tube removed October 2014 and got pregnant March 2015. I see you asked this over a year ago, but I figured I would share my experience.
Was you in a lot of pain after the procedure?
I had my tubes tied and 2 yrs after I had a tubal pregnancy in both tubes. 1 was farther than the other and one bursted. I had to go into emergency surgery. Both tubes were removed. My doctor said I was the first he's ever seen that happen to. I have had a total of now 8 pregnacies only 4 live children. So my doctor told me if I got pregnant again he'd write me up in world records. That was 9 yrs ago. I am 37 now. The only Thing I can say is I get really crazy like a week before my period. Then all of a sudden I'm fine. Like out of nowhere I'll go off usually on my boyfriend and my emotions are whacked out. Then the next day hi honey what ya doing! Apologizing because I had no reason to go off. That's it. And I've gained about 30 lbs over the years since but I have no idea if there is a link between the 2. Was curious to know myself if there was. All in all I still have normal periods. I have no other changes. I can have all the unprotected sex I want with my boyfriend without any fear of being pregnant. hope that helps.
It took me about 10 days to heal. I have a scar now of one of a c-section but had all vaginal births. I had no feeling in that area up until about a couple years ago. My tubes were removed about 9 yrs ago. So other than normal pain of surgery, lasting a couple weeks, it's been pain free. Just don't really have muscle in that area so I have like a kangaroo pouch that I hate. It's really loose skin. I just cover it with my underwear. No low bikinis for me.
I had my 2nd child with only one ovarie
I was in that position, I got told it's about 85%.
I have somewhat of the same symptoms. The bloating, back pain and heavy cycles were all new to me after the surgery. I had both of mine removed about 2 years ago. I notice that I get super depressed about a week before my period.
Last week I had both of my tubes removed. Problem is I start spotting a week before my surgery & was still spotting during my surgery...... so from May 3-til now May 26 I am still bleeding. Can anyone please tell me is this normal. I am so afraid that something is wrong. Plz if anyone can help!
I'm 30 years old, married 3 years ago & have only one fallopian tube & 2 ovaries but fertility is so weak.. i'm trying to get pregnant & had a tubal pregnancy surgery couple of month ago but it failed.I gained alot of weight after marriage about 35 kgms mainly around the belly. Please if there is any advice , any excersice, any kinds of food that may boost my fertility.. also if there are specific sexual positions, do's & dont's after intercourse, anything that could help to get pregnant i would really appreciate.
CHANCES OF GETTING PREGNANT ARE REGULAR LIKE ANY OTHER WOMAN THAT HAVE TWO TUBES. I AM AN EXAMPLE. I THOUGHT MY CHANCES WERE SLIM BUT I WAS ABLE TO CONCIEVE LIKE I HAD TWO FALLOPIAN TUBES.
I just asked my on gyn this same question. It does not affect your hormones. If your ovaries were removed then this would cause a hormonal shift.
They told me that you can't get pregnant with no fallopian tubes.
I've had 3kids since my left tube was removed in 2006
I had mine removed in 08/2016 and I too have gained weight to date. It bothers your hormones in some sort of way that hasn't been discovered yet. I'm convinced
I've gained 20 pounds after having both my tubes removed earlier this yr and Its kinda reassuring that it's not just me, I wasn't for sure if it was from the surgery or not until now because none of my habits had changed, thank you for sharing.
