Mine has been with me on and off for years. In the last week it has increased. The area is from the middle to the right side under my rib cage. Any pressure on my right side causes a feeling of breathlessness. It's a very strange feeling and I get somewhat nauseous. I went and had a few x-rays yesterday and the med station doc didn't really have any idea what she was looking at other than the fact that I'm extremely constipated. I already knew that because of the heart meds they have had me on lately. I started Miralax last night and a probiotic to see if that may help with the pressure feeling. She did say that there was a shadow of some sort which she wasn't sure was my gallbladder or what. Kind of scared me a bit, but I had to consider the source. I also have a ton of heartburn all the time and can only take Zantac because of the heart meds. I have wondered if this is acid reflux or if I have a hiatal hernia, but do need to see my regular doctor. I just didn't have time at work today to call him. His office closes much earlier than I get out of work. I had a minute here to look on the net and found this site. I am going to go forward with trying to clear myself out and see if that makes any difference, but I doubt it will. I know the pain is from something - maybe gallstones, maybe something else. All I know is that I'm tired of not feeling well and want this taken care of but there is this little voice in my head that is telling me that this one is going to be much worse than the heart disease I have. All I know is that getting old sure sucks!!! If anyone finds anything, please post it so maybe I can have a minute of not being worried and I will post if I find out anything. Thank you all for just being there!
Been doing a lot of research and I think I may have found the answer for some of us.
Pancreatitis.... check it out for yourself.
I hope it helps someone else
I get this every so often then disappears for weeks-months.
Initially it started a fluttering sensation in the area that would come and go over 8 months
Often discomfort is felt more in the morning then nothing later in the day.
Last week there was pain made worse by movemnt in the area that lasted for an hour or so then as quickly as it came it went.
Anyone have similar symtoms to these?
I have the same thing happen. What did your doctor say?
