Hi Oise,

Once they truly identify what it is then there is treatment available. You can live quite normally without a gallbladder. Pancreatitis is treated depending upon their findings and may involve antibiotics or surgery.

The important thing is to find out what is making you feel as you do.

If you've only seen this doctor for 2 months he/she probably still really doesn't know your background/history. Keep telling them what the symptoms are and be specific. As you know, this post started with not feeling well after making love. We've gone completely around that and are now focusing on specifics. If it helps, write down your symptoms and anything that you can think of that might be related. If you have a pain in your abdomen and are bloated for example make a note of when this occurred and what you ate and were doing before hand. The more details you can provide the better the outcome.

I know its a lot of work to monitor yourself, but you have to do it. You and your doctor are a team and he needs to know exactly what is going on to make the best diagnosis.

Good luck and keep us posted. Dan
