Hi I'm 15 years old and I have fordyce spots around the end of my penis on the foreskin. I get really down sometimes coz I feel like stupid and I think they look really bad! Sometimes I feel okay and then suddenly I will just turn depressed and feel really down and useless and tat no one would wanna know me if they knew about this!

I had been to the docter previously and my gp said that they would fade and that they are nothing to worry about but in the mean time I look like a gimp down there :-P

what makes it worse is that I have a girlfriend. I really do love her so much but I'm scared asoon as she's sees them she would run a mile and tbh I understand why and I get scared that she wouldn't ne sexually attracted to me which would probably ruin the relationship! We were once playing around and we have a bit of banter and we were joking that what she would do if I had no testicle, and she said she would find a way to have fun however messed up they are :-P which is sort of convincing I guess!

Anyway this is eating me up and I was hoping a few ladies could give me their opinion too!

And one more thing is there any way to get rid of them? I heard toothpaste works but wasn't sure if I should be putting it near the head of my penis? I don't wanna cause anymore problems for myself!

Thanks x
Hi Jamie! OK First of all fordyce spots are found on 90% of men!!!! So you are TOTALLY normal! I bet you didn't know that did you? :-) And lets face facts a penis isn't the most attractive thing in the world to look at! So I doubt she is going to be spending time staring at your wing man! AND if she even asks about it, just tell her that's the way they are supposed to look! BECAUSE if she is "Knowledgeable" In how guys penis's look - that's another story isn't it!!!!? ;-) o.O XD XD The reason why I know that these are TOTALLY normal is I'm married, I have 2 boys 17 and 14 and several god sons and nephews - not that I take time looking!!!!!!! It's just a normal part of your anatomy and even a womans!!!! Look inside your lip, you will see them there too! And I am pretty sure your girlfriend has them on her labia and inside her mouth as well!! So hopefull this puts your mind at ease! Good luck and health honey!

me feel abit more normal :-P thank you :-)

they aren't really that noticable but there just there :-) I think they are slowly fading away!

But yeahh I will just try to act cool :-P and just explain to her what they are and that they are not harmful in any way and hopefully we with have a really good and strong relationship :-)

And do you also get them around the eyes? Like underneath?

Anyway thanks for your help, you have been really useful :-) cheers

Unfortunately I am 41 with a bad case of fordyce spots and a nice scar from ingrown hair on top of my shaft and let's say fordyce spots don't go away for all people just the very lucky ones and honestly to this day it has ruined my life.. it makes me soooooo damn depressed like u wouldn't believe and on top of that being shy and to the point I hate being nude or just going to the toilet for a wee coz it reminds me every day how gross it looks.. the thing that makes me laugh the most is if it's so normal with 90% of men having it then with all the pics I've looked at and all the adult moves I watched just to see if this was true and let's say I've only seen 2 adult movies with guys that had it and the other billion movies they don't have any so yeah that really helps the mental side of me even more.. what needs to be done is more information about it in sex ed at school days from a young age so the future generations of men don't suffer in silence like my self and then the future women can learn it's normal as well.. also there is too much emphasis on women's bodies and their insecurities and us poor men get left in the dark..
