From what i have read just about every uncircumcised male has this problem the foreskin is attached to the head, i was born in a 2-3rd world country and what they do is they push it down to the point that it breaks away from the head ( by the way this is done without numbing of any kind ) its extremely painful and it was back to the same state 2-3 months later, i had the same concern as every one here when growing up and unable to pull the foreskin back i knew it was not normal but it is, all i did to solve this problem is, i left it alone a build up of white substance started to detach it from the inside and its normal now. Suggestions: leave it alone and don't hurt yourself if you are sexually active wear a condom so the foreskin is not pulled back and risk the chance of hurting yourself. I am not a doctor this is only from personal experience maybe your experience might differ.

their is NOTHIGN wrong with the string on the bottom of your penis, it is supposed to be their:

The frenulum, or frenum, is a connecting membrane on the underside of the penis, similar to that beneath the tongue.

The problem is when the frenulum is too short, which is what I believe most of the people here are talking about. For detailed information and what to do, go to guardian.co.uk/health/story/0,3605,659196,00.html

In mine, the opening to the penis head is just too narrow to allow the foreskin to retract.

i seem to have something similar however, from what some people have explained it is different for me, as i can retract my foreskin however there is skin connected to the head on both side (sorry if my description isn't good) P.S. it isn't what seems to be described as a problem with the Frenulum.

I have the same problem, i don't think that the people trying to help are really understanding the problem. It is like a piece of flesh which connects the head to the foreskin

I think i've got the same problem you guys are describing. I have so many problems with my penis -- it is not symmetrical, i have phimosis, and also the problem you guys described i think!

looks like this thread is still unresolved...

from the diagram that was posted, it's where the inner foreskin layer is attached to the every edge of the base of the glans. I have opening on each side of the frenulum where they are detached. I thought this was normal until the left side started widening and skin became loose when I tried to clean it.

Here is a pic of what i'm talking about:

The yellow arrow is pointing to the spot to the right of the frenulum where the inner foreskin is disjoint from the glans. as it goes up the penis, it starts becoming joined (as shown) and goes all the way up to the top of the head and around to the left. This looked the same on the left side of the frenulum until recently when it started to separate itself when I washed it, like i stated before.

I hope i explained it well enough. now does anyone know how to fix this problem? I want the inner foreskin to be disjoint from every part of the glans. my penis looks like a deformed monster right now because only the left part is disjoint. please help!!!

i totally understand what you lot are talking about.
this all happened to me when i was very young, but i remember it well.

at first i never thought anything was wrong. my foreskin was attached to my glans all the way round and i just assumed that was how it was meant to be. it caused me no pain or worry at the time... that is until it started to come loose. at first there was a slight seperation, causing maybe a 2-3mm gap between my foreskin and glans creating what looked to me at the time like a 'hole in my penis'. this worried me greatly.

over time the 'hole' got bigger and a white substance was seen inside.
i was quite a heavy masterbator at the time (started young) and this would sometimes cause me to 'rip' my foreskin away from my glans bit by bit. this caused sore red patches round my corona, but they healed quickly.

my advise to you is to either a) be patient and let it come away on its own, or b) be a little more bold and attempt to 'ease it loose' gently pry it away and see if you can get it loose - if you yanked it hard, the seal would break but it would be painful.

either way, try not to worry about it. it's very normal and is something a lot of men go through at some point in life - most get it out of the way whilst very young - but everyone's different.

you're not alone, and no doubt it'll be ok in the end.

i hope this helps.

Um, I have a problem, i think it related to this. I believe i have a mild case of phimoses, when erect i cannot retract my foreskin, but i can when..floppy if i do some stretching before hand.
The only way my foreskin is attached at all the my head is by that little piece of skin shown by 'healthywanabe'. Aside from this the foreskin is entirelly unconnected to my head. Is this right? When i roll it down to get the foreskin below the head, as i believe it is meant to be when erect, i can see green underneath. Is this part of the mucous membrane or what?
I'm seriously freaked out by this green stuff, it starts at the base of my head and goes down, i'm going to book an appointment to see my GP tomorrow as i've never heard of this green stuff before!

I have the same problem, where there is a small extremely sensitive piece of skin attaching the foreskin to the head, although it didnt go away (Im 17 years old)

I dont know what to do, the stretching exercise only hurt me and im too afraid to go to the doctors again (I went once last year and felt so humiliated I never went back)
