I have this problem. It is not that the skin is too tight it is that there is literally a small strip of skin if you will that attaches from the foreskin to the side of the penis that i can see when it try to pull it back...

Yes thats the exact same with me my penis when erect gets out most of the head but still a small piece of skin on the right side prevents it from going all the way, now the penis skin is red and slightly swollen and hurts if I do certran activities or pull it back and then overtop without doing it gently.

I had the same problem when I was younger (around 10-11 year old), and the foreskin was totally surrounding the head of my penis (I'm uncircumcised). Thanks God I had a helpful/understanding dad who probably experienced this when he was younger. He told me to stretch my foreskin back when I shower (probably the stretch exercise everyone is talking about). Every time, it would tear away a tiny bit of my glan penis (head of penis) away, and the foreskin was loosen a bit. It hurt, but not too much... didn't bleed, and I would apply some sort of ointment onto it after to prevent scaring and infection. Then, I waited for it to heal... it healed quickly. After a couple days, I would repeat the process again. After a couple weeks, done !!! Now, every time my penis is erected, the foreskin pull back all the way as it should... and it looks good.

Try it at your own risk... just my experience, so don't hold me responsible if any problem arise.

Hope this post helps !!! ;-)

BTW, I'm a first year medical student now.

So if I keep streching the foreskin back and doing the "streching exercises" then the piece attached to the penis will eventually tear away and allow me to fully retract the foreskin?

i have the same problem, i bit a of paranoid, my foreskin is attached to the head, and the most of my head i can expose is like less then a half in across, its not phimosis or anything, i just cant physically retract, and i dont think stretching will help, what do i do internets???

hi i had the same problem, my fireskin was attacted to the head of my penis. Ths is common to 34% of men. The cure for it is circumcision. But there is a very long process in unattaching it. It will tear if you have sex with it because you dont control how you penis foreskin moves at the head (as it will be inside) so you have to rub arround for 2 mins around the spot where your penis foreskin is connected to the head, gradually it loosens up. Iv done that for 2 years, now its perfect as when i get erect the foreskin moves backwards itself!

I read the thread and some people are mistaken about the frenulum and the issue of foreskin being stuck on the head. They are two different things, and foreskin sticking onto the head is a real problem. But it's a solvable problem so don't panic. Just imagine the foreskin as being crazy glued onto the head.

If you pull the skin back little by little over time, you can separate the foreskin from the head. It might be painful because your head is very sensitive to the pull. My advice is to do it in the shower. The warm water will help. Also, to help with the sensitivity, I find that when you are really turned on, you feel less pain (e.g. get a huge hard on first before pulling). You might see redness around the area being pulled, that's normal.

Well hope that ease your fears.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this whole thing failed considering NOBODY realized that the skin is attached to the TOP of the head. As in NOT the frenulum. So the help we would need is from the last guy to post, who claims that it will come off gradually after stretching it. I hope that's true because that's what I'm going to do. All the rest of you who launch into this whole thing about it going away when you're young, or that it's always like that, or start talking about a simple tightness, you all fail. Listen to what we were saying. Good grief. For the record I'm almost 21 and I still have it. So don't try my patience.

If anyone has any official answers tell us. Guh.

I have the exact same problem. i cannot retract (only about 1/8 of the way) and wen im trying to do my streching excerisice, whch i just started, i found a strip of sensitive skin with the same level of sensitivity as the head of the penis attached from the foreskin to the bottom of the slit in the penis. i dont know if i should just try and rip it it while streching or wat......

is ti underneath, if it is then it is perfectly normal, it is supposed to be there, if not just keep pulling the foreskin back evry night and put tension on the skin which is stuck, that might help ya m8..

Hey guys, I was in the same boat as you all when I started reading this thread. Now I can pull my foreskin back. Then thing that really helps is obviously the stretching, but I found you can only stretch it to a certian point, at which the little thing attaching the skin to the penis doesnt really allow you to go any further. What I did to help this was just gently grab the thing attaching it and GENTLY pulled it a little. I did this along with some stretching and even after a few days I could go all the way past the head.

my problem now it that I can go back as far as id like most of the time when flacid but it doesnt retract itself when I get a boner. How can I fix this?

yeah i had this phimosis up until i was about 11 because i had deposits of some solid substance underneath the joining of the foreskin to the head.
i went to the doctors about it and they sent me to my local hospital.

the outcome was that i was to take on stretching exercises (like the ones metioned in this post). eventually, the lump came out as the foreskin detached which was bloody fing relieving btw!

Anyway, i still have these kinda spot things around what is my foreskin when i pull it back and around the bottom of my glans there are rows of white dots. i reckon, as a result, but im not 100% sure, of phimosis.
i wash it daily and scrub with soap and a flannel but im still having no luck with getting rid of these little buggers which is c**p cus now im getting more and more sexualy active i dont want my gf looking down and me having to explain that it can no way be genital warts or anything.
stresss!

well
if anyone has the same problems or knows how to help id be grateful

i would just go down to my gp and get them to sort me out, but im not a fan of getting my todge out and showing it to the world, and im looking for a chance to go out without my parents knowing, to save myself the hassle

cheers if you can help me x

the white dots are probably "pearly white papules"

usually called pearls or papules. these are harmless and do nothing. you dont catch it from anything. its possible that its genetically passed down. unfortunately from my research, there is no cure. that was long time ago when i was young, things might have changed.

from the sound of your post, you probably dont have it that bad.

(actually yeah, did some quick googling and they now have electrosis for removing papules) g'luck.

I am a 24 year old male who has had the exact problem you are talking about.

Just on the bottom of the glands, just below the slit on the head of my penis, there was a piece of flesh adhered. It never really caused me too many problems, other then me knowing it wasn't normal.

So i went to the doctor to check it out who sent me to a urologist. He immediately recommended circumcision. So, just 9 days ago, I went into surgery and had it done. As of right now i'm still healing, it's looking better but the head where the foreskin was attached is still pretty sore and scabbed over. I haven't masturbated in 9 days, which is a new record for sure. But i hope it's all worth it, anyways I'll keep you posted on my progress.
