So what is causeing this to happen and what does one do for this awful pain and break outs?
I have the same problem. I think it's a yeast infection. It's been going on for like 4 months. At first I could pull the foreskin over the head quite easily, now it's impossible. I should probably see a doctor. Unfortunately I'm going to Uni abroad so will have to find someone else.
Are you women
I've had this same problem and I used this formula and it worked for me heat 2 cups sesame oil on stove and add several cloves of garlic let cook until garlic turns dark let cool and strain the oil in to a bottle rub this oil on
I have had this issue too. Test your blood sugar.
That was my issue.
That was my issue.
The, most important part is cleaning.
There will pain initially but it will improve trust me.
You need to clean your foreskin with clean water, better you add a little Dettole/ Savlon type of solution to the water after wash dry it with clean clothe and give it proper air.
Add some anti fungal cream (once in a 2 days.).
Keep doing it, Till then It will be better if you keep your self away from any sexual activity.
I am sure this will improve your penus condition

Phimosis is something completely different to what people have described so far. Phimosis is when the foreskin starts to bond with itself at the tip, if untreated it can effectively seal the foreskin shut over the glans (head) of the penis firstly making urination difficult and often making the foreskin balloon up when trying to pee, secondly, becoming impossible to pass the foreskin back over the glans not only when erect, but eventually when flacid too, finally closing off the opening to the penis completely. The frequent need to pee normally prevents a total closure of the foreskin over the head of the penis, but peeing makes the ballooning of the foreskin extremely uncomfortable as the urine can no longer escape. Phimosis is not itchy, nor does the skin become dry or cracking from the dryness. Phimosis is common in babies and upto mid- late- teens, and in men who suffer with getting a "hot" crotch (temperature wise - normally when sitting for long periods) and when not having sex as often. Making sure your foreskin can be fully retracted every day will help prevent phimosis occurring and you should be cleaning under there with water every day anyway.
What is being described above sounds more like Lichen Sclerosus. This can cause a shrinking or thickening of the foreskin in a ring around the penis, making retraction very painful, drying and cracking the skin, sometimes causing the affected skin to weep and feel wet, can cause redness and blotches and a host of other nasty extreme eczema like problems.
Keeping the area dry from urine, sweat and after bathing will help and basic eczema or steroid creams can solve the problem, but it is a slow recovery. Keep it dry by dabbing the area fully dry with toilet paper after every pee, even dabbing it dry every hour or so if sweating or slight dampness from oozing of the skin is happening, will help. Not using soap to clean it and washing it regularly with clean water will also help. Your doctor can take a swab and recommend a cream or lotion that can best target the type of sclerosus that you have. For those that have had thickening or shrinkage, causing painful intercourse, urinating or generally preventing the retraction of the foreskin, there are some creams available that can soften the skin and allow frequent stretching of the foreskin just as with early stages of phimosis. However, sclerosus is not simply the skin sealing itself together like in phimosis, but is like an infection that damages and can scar the skin. If stretching and creams do not allow the retraction of the foreskin comfortably, then a circumcision is highly likely to be the only option.
No matter whether it could be Phimosis or Lichen Sclerosus,
DO NOT LEAVE IT and SEE YOUR DOCTOR!

I don't know where you have got your information about phimosis from but it has nothing to do with the sealing the foreskin shut, phimosis is a tight band around the opening of the foreskin that restricts the foreskin going back over the glands fully and can be treated in several ways, by steroid cream described by a doctor or by simple stretching methods.
Use TACROLIMUS OINMENT 0.03% W/W
It is called "Phimosis". You can buy a kit for £20 in which you use a sleeve and cream to expand the foreskin a little bigger each time until it is back to normal. There is no need to get circumcised. Most Doctors want to either use surgery or drugs (Cash grab basically) to fix the problem and are unaware of the kit.
Try almond oil every 6 hours
I had this for years. My foreskin would get very dry and crack at the end which was very painful so I could not have sex or pull my foreskin back to pee. It got steadily worse over the years and started to form a tough band of scar tissue.
My GP diagnosed it as BXO (balanitis xerotica obliterans), the urologist said it was just phimosis. However I was given the option of circumcision and took it because I was fed up with the situation. Four years on, I have absolutely no regrets, there was some loss of sensitivity but it is minor and far more preferable to the misery of phimosis.

About Listerine, should be using the zero alcohol one for balanitis?
I've had this problem before, as have most men. You are, how shall I put it... over-using your penis while erect. Inflammation and dry skin occurs. The skin becomes chapped. We all have lots of bacteria in our underpants and this can be problematic for the healing process. If you absolutely refuse to see a doctor, then take these steps: 1) Try to avoid erections, masturbating or having sex for 4-5 days. 2) Have a bath twice a day and change your underwear afterwards. 3) Avoid rolling the foreskin back and forth even when not erect. Just stop 'over-using' it, leave it alone for a few days, and it should heal.
what help to cure it,having that problem?
