I mix the apple cider vinegar in water with honey & it tastes better. Remember ice packs & hot compresses. A tsp of olive oil at night can help keep things moving. Add tumeric and cinnamon to food to help with inflammation and sugars. Go for a small walk after meals and find a supplement with milk thistle to help with detoxing the liver. Do mild, gentle stretches to help with the healing. Also, zinc & vitamin C helps during healing. Remember that your body heals in stages from the inside to the surface. Oh, one last thing that helped me a great deal is I use a smaller ball and roll it gently over my stomach, following the path of the large intestine and over the lower ribs. This helps with gas and just helps/stimulates digestional movement.

For those still having trouble after gall bladder ops and pain around your navel. Remember though, that you've had invasive surgery! Its gonna take more than a week to heal.

OMG, I'm reading all these messages, and I just had my surgery last Monday, 5 days ago, and I'm having exactly what you're saying, stinging, burning pain on the left side of my stomach! Has your doctor given you any advice of what this is and what to do about it?
Thanks so much! Cheri

It's been 7 months since I've had my gallbladder removed as well as my 3 kidney stones. I'm noticing pain in my lower right, by my belly button. It feels like a little ball. Should I go to ER?
