A few months ago, I finally did some research typing in "little white spots on lips" into google. I had noticed them over 8 years ago and ignored them on and off for years. Even when I was not ignoring them, all I would do was think about them for a few days and then forget about them again. I did not find much help online. All the blogs had the same info. I did see one that said, "Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!" Tending away from drug approaches and toward the natural, I tried exfoliation. I use a natural loofa. It works so great. Do it gently and consistently. In a bit over 4 weeks, mine are 80% gone! Hope this helps.
Has anyone tried the method listed on the previous page by Dr. Bernardo Rodriguez ?
ok, i'm 40 years old, i have had these spots from about the age of 15 and they are still there, not worse but not fading either.
In my youth we didn't have internet so i went to the Dr, she said it was skin glands, i accepted that and went out and started my sexual life, i'm gay and have been with a lot of men who have the same problem as us. BUT I would give anything to get rid of them.
Hey. I'm 19 and still a virgin. I have lots of Fordyce's spots and have a couple of questions:

1. Can masturbation cause them to spread?
2. Is it common to have large amounts of them or do most people just have one or two?

I've never worried about it too much until lately. I've met a very special girl at uni; over the first year she wanted to keep things as friends, but we got very close at the end of the year and are making every effort to keep in touch. I'd like for something to happen between us when we get back to university, but the Fordyce's spots are making my nervous.

Thanks for your time! :-)
Ok now they have spread from the base of my penis all the way up and now are appearing on the head of the penis! DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THEM THERE? Can someone tell me if they still are spreading for them please or how long until it stopped. i am 24 and just got them this past year and have hundreds! THIS SUCKS SO BAD
has anyone tired the boiling water method? I am thinkin about it because i just want to get rid of these spots and if it takes a few seconds of pain to do it im down, but i dont wanna do it without results lol so if anyone has treid it please respond
Just a little info.

I'm 32 and have had them on the shaft of my penis since about 15 or 16 years old. Never got an answer for what they were till I found the answer myself via the internet. Once I found that they were normal...I no longer felt self conscious about them.

Here is the interesting part. I recently gave up 2 things: #1) Caffeine-because I thought I was getting addicted and #2) Diet Sodas - because of how bad I heard aspartame was. I gave both up at the same time. Well I still will have some coffee about 3 times per week. But since giving these up I have started to notice the bumps getting smaller! I will now try to give up caffeine 100% and see if that does the trick. Makes sense cause at around 15 or 16 was when I really started downing coffee and diet sodas. Hope some others try it and see also if it works for them

Good Luck All

We've recently discovered a reliable cure for those pesky spots here at the Tortellini University of San Esperito, and it's so simple and readily available that you'll be really amazed that nobody came up with this before.

Now, the pain involved in this might put some of you off, but the results are more than worth it. Pour a small amount of boiling water over the spots, this will release the substances which caused the inflammation, and a small amount of blood. The color should start fading right away, only to disappear completely over the course of an hour.

Please try this method and post your feedback. Thousands of people have tried it with amazing results.

hmm im worried about scalding my penis. worried i meght get fordyce blisters and that would be messed up. someone else try it before me hahahaha
tortellini university? Im not trusting anyone from a school named after noodles.
The post about pouring boiling water on your penis is bogus. The University is even made up.
i have recently come off quite a heavy-duty 6 month prescription for getting rid of acne (they were tablets, and had to be prescribed by a dermatologist)

not only did these tablets completely get rid of my acne (which was quite bad) i noticed that these bumps i had had on my penis vanished. now after some research i have found out that these bumps were Fordyce spots.

after coming off the tablets, however, they have returned. but i thought this might be of interest
Yes, infact there is a way to get rid of them by taking an acne medicine known as accutane. Which is a very powerful medicine that has some side effects which aren't too good. including stunted growth (in height), really chapped lips, and some have claimed death (but i doubt this is true). The only problem is you have to take this medicine continually because once you stop they come back. I've had fordyce spots for around 4 years now and girls really dont say much about them and if you are getting really close to a girl just tell them about it and they will understand considering they are normal just they dont look to good. But some minor things that do work in making the the fordyce spots less noticeable are tretinoin gel, which is more commonly know as retin-a micro, and eating foods with large amounts of vitamin-A. both of these methods can make fordyce spots less noticeable over time. the tretinoin gel makes your penis a little sensitive where the cream has been applied but i havent experienced any other side effects. hope this helps someone. and good luck.
I have noticed these and I'm so relieved now that everyone gets them. I'm 16 and I haven't been circumsized. I hear these appear to uncirccumsized people alot. By what I hear from everyone, It's only Natural.
so i guess were stick with this forever huh? anyone notices that some are bigger then the other and sometimes itchy to the point where u can squeeze the pus out?
