Ive just gone through the pain of eating banana chips and thats much worse. And it was only a SMALL pack. Try warm milk. It should soothe it a bit. However i did vomit a little so... vomit and drink? You choose.

Check gallbladder as it is located there and where you described is where you will feel pain

I have exactly the same problem after eating a banana and like you it developed after having my first child, so much so a couple of days after giving birth I was doubled up in pain & ended up being admitted to hospital obviously nothing was found and it was only later I worked it out to be bananas. That was 24 years ago & recently due to their health benefits & loving the taste I have weaned myself back on them but am still suffering but no where near as severely but uncomfortable!

It happened to me when I was pregnant too. Started out with an aversion to bananas and became a full blown gastrointestinal reaction. That was 3 years ago and it's still an issue. My next pregnancy I had an aversion to avocado and now the same thing. Horrible cramping, chilling, and vomiting after I eat it.

Just read that it might be Plantains you are referring to. Pintails are larger and harder than regular bananas. Hope this helps.

I also have upper abdominal pain after eating bananas, mushrooms and almonds. I have found taking daily Tumeric helps me digest these foods and prevents the pain. Taking digestive enzymes helps also

It could be a sensitivity to fish, but if it only happens with battered foodss, I would rule out a gluten allergy or intolerance, as this could be deadly. Also, if it happens with fatty foods a lot, have your doctor check on your gall bladder. Good luck!
