Reading about the treatment on the subject matter. I would like to ask as why after having two surgery done the swelling keeps coming back? On both occasions osteoma removal performed with an endoscope. However, after a short time the swelling or the bump reoccurred on my forehead.
Why is that? Is there a permanent solution to such a problem?

Hello everyone. As I type this I am recovering from having my " horn" removed. I had had mine for years as a result of an accident. It never bothered me until the last couple years. I was experiencing numbness in my face along with pressure on the "horn" thankfully I had mine removed this week. My doctor who is a plastic surgeon says it could be cancerous. Now is the waiting game for pathology . I would recommend getting it off. The surgery was not horrible but not the greatest. I'm on day 3 and well pain pills are nice. Best of luck.

Okay... so as far as I know everybody, this means you are psychic. Mostly women have it more than men. Most people's are on the right side of the forehead bit either way you've done it to yourself and it is hard to do, and the left side is usually harder to do.

Same here with me, but to it started in 2011 and to this day I have no problem with it. It kinda motivate me and I really feel much more strong physical and mental. Perhaps it is a mark from the Bible that only the chosen shall have. Peace Be Unto you

Is anyone able to provide some idea of thecost of removal with the endoscopic surgery?

I've been on a TON of these threads, different websites, even YouTube and no one talks about cost! Ballpark it. What am I looking at? $2000? $3000?

Does the surgery leave visible scarring? Covered by insurance or considered cosmetic?
