I have the exact same thing and am now very concerned as to what it is. It looks as if my brain is trying to push itself out of my forehead. The worst part is that it is very noticeable, dark pink to red in color and it sticks out of my forehead just a little bit. It doesn't hurt, but you can definitely feel there is something in there (like a gel substance from the outside when you run your finger over it). I can say, however, that not too long after noticing this large, round, red, slightly protruding bump, that I have been getting several dizzy spells here and there and it can be scary because sometimes it's a normal dizzy feeling, but at other times it feels like I'm spinning or falling???
If anyone has information on this I would love to hear about it. In the meantime, I am going to make a doctors appointment to find out what it is.

Haha! Glad I’m not alone, I’ve had one on my right hairline near my eyebrow. It feels funny but glad to hear I’m not an alien!
its actually blood clotted under that area and has harden, i too have that and it can be removed through surgery

I had the same problem I cut a potato slice a about one half inch thick ensure it is cold I keep my potatoes in the rep. place the slice on the bump and wrap it with an ace bandage. I did mine at night just before bed, the next morning it was gone.I wish I had taken a before and after picture. let me know how this work out for you.

I recently had scarlet fever and during that a small hard lump appeared on the upper right hand side of my head. Its been there for a few months now and I dont have the fever any more. Mom thought it was a pimple but I knew it wasn't. We still dont know what it is...
im a 16 year old female and I also have a hard small lump on my forehead. Its about the size of a coin, but I got mine whilst sick with Scarlet Fever, I'm not sick anymore but its been a few months and its still there.
so answering your last question they normally cut passed your hair line so you done have scares on your head
