i have more or less the same problem same place of were my lump is, but both my testicles hurt and throb its an on and of pain i get pains down my legs i didn't tell anyone until yesterday im going to get it checked out tomoro. :-)

Hi i have the grain of rice kind lump on the top of my left testicle, which is sometimes painful to the touch, and can move it slightly but is attached to my testicle. i also have a pea sized lump attached to the epidemis (forgot how to spell) it is quite firm and i also have a smaller one the right side aswell. i also sometimes get a dull ache in my left testicle.

it sounds like the small rice like appendage is probably your testicular or epididymal appendix. i would get it checked out to be shure but this is probably what it is and it is a normal piece of your anatomy.

Thanks alot for taking the time to reply. the thing is, is that the grain of rice type thing is only on my left testicle and not on the right. But today i think i'll tell my parents and get a doctors appointment.

hey no problem man, had that appendage give me a scare a year or two ago... i know the feeling. sometimes they are harder to find than others and i dont think that they are always present...

Hi again, yes i will be sure to let you know what i find out, and another thing, i've just noticed that my testicle kind of rotates to the right so the pea shape lump i was talking about is on the other side, which i thought was strange. i dont feel pain or discomfort, just sometimes when i feel around the pea shaped lump is on the other side, and i cnt feel the rice lump.
if this lump moves around it is a very good sign. cancerous lumps are firmly attached....
Its attached by a kind of string like thing to the epididymis but i'm worried that maybe my testicle rotating isnt normal,
yep i am 99% sure that the "pea" is not cancerous :-D >;) as for the rotating testicle, they normally rotate to a certian extent. some testicles rotate a lot and it increases a the risk of getting a testicular torsion. how old are you?? i would bring the rotating issue up to your doctor so he can get a better look. chances are it is not rotating out of the normal range.
I'm 15, and it doesnt rotate 360 or anything just that things i usually feel on left side of my left testicle appear on the right side instead. and like i said i dont experience any pain or discomfort but i will take your advice and tell my doctor about it.
nice... like i said im sure you have nothing to worry about. the reason i asked for you age is becaue normally teens are more prone to getting testicular torsions due to puberty causein your testicles to get bigger they tend to sink in the scrotum more and becuase of their weight they can rotate more.

well i can tell u guys all need ultra sound assesment and thier are some blood markers to any way if the mass or cyst is only limited to the epididmus than no need to worry but a purly testicular mass is usally very worrysome any scrotal mass will need a scrotal examinatio and ultra sound .
i went to the doctor for the same thing.. hard small lump on right testi... he felt it and told me sometimes your epididimus swells, the pain is normal and just cause for you to shake it out on occasion.. testicular cancer would be many lumps, usually spreading rapidly. If its just a small lump, monitor it. if you see nothin changing within a few weeks, its probably nothing. No need to give yerself a panic attack. Use yer gonads and get out there men! 8)
I am 14 and had exactly the same thing I had an ultrasound about a month ago and they said it was nothing malignant and i didn't have to worry since then i have been to my doctor and he told me there was nothing to worry about and it wasn't a tumor and it wasn't varioleces
