Ok. I am 14. I have never had sex, and yesterday, I started to have a funny feeling "down there". I went to the bathroom and checked, and one of my vagina lips is swollen. (The left side) I started to feel around, in case there was any thing else wrong with it, and I felt a little bump on the inside of the lip. What should I do? Can you guys help me any? I don't wanna mention it to my mom cause I don't want her to have to look at my area. Any home remedies?
Hi Mouse by what you have described I think you could have a Bartholin’s cyst, its nothing to worry about though but I know it will be embarrassing but you need to tell your mom because if there not treated properly they can get very uncomfy.
It could be something totally different so if your mom wants to look it would be a better diagnoses :-)

Thank you, is it possible that I could take a hot bath and this help any? It is still a little swollen, but the little bump is gone. Is this normal?
You can try and see if it helps but if it doesn't get any better you need to ask your mum about it :-)
