Hi
Thank you for the information, I may mention it to my Doctor. I did get some relief from increasing my fiber intake to about 30 grams a day and I take magnesium, my symptoms are very similar to yours, what a pain, even when I mentioned it to my Doctor he looked at me like he had never heard of this sort of thing. I have also found as I age the symptoms have lessened, I thought maybe this was something to with estrogen, thank for your response
Thank you
Good luck everyone- as others said you are not crazy and you are not alone. Medical science has simply;y not caught up to this problem.
I ate pizza last night. Typically I eat small meals but it was it extremely late and I was ravenous resulting in overeating. I did take an otc gas/acid pill only helped a tiny bit.
This morning the sensations are gone but I feel gassy that's usually because of my cpap machine for sleep apnea which btw is one of the little known effects. I have been juicing breakfast (fruits & veggies) for over 2 years now but I'm afraid to eat today. Last night was torture.
Are there any all natural remedies for this?
THANKS AGAIN!!!
I am one of the unlucky members of this club as well. I believe this is spot on with Roemheld (GastroCardio) Syndrome. Wish more shrinks are trained on this or at least savvy enough to not prescribe tons of anti-anxiety drugs and beta blockers etc., based on the symptoms that they are not text book trained to diagnose.
..btw I visited close to 15 doctors (from the head of GI from the biggest non profit hospital in US to doc in the boxes) and not one of them was able to relate the symptoms and give me even a close enough diagnosis to Roemheld. They instead fake convinced me of anxiety and started providing anti anxiety drugs which obviously did nothing to alleviate the symptoms. I ended up proving my shrink that my PVC's start exactly 2 hours after my dinner so the PVC are indeed related to digestion. He ended the conversation saying the causative agents of PVC's are hard to determine and ended up suggesting beta blockers which luckily I didn't end up taking.

So your activia yogurt suggestion would be right in line with my probiotic theory,
