I need help... for the past 3 months i have had the most horrible pain at the onset of my period also accompied by vomiting and diahrea i have been to er four times for this pain even been admitted once and they still have no idea what is causing this horrible pain. I cant take it anymore every month i feel like im dying. I take percocets 10 mg for the past two years because of a horrible car accident and doctors seem to blame those but if it was the pills why is it just starting now and only at the start of my cycle? Everytime i go to hospital on the first day of my cycle they do their many tests and its always something different. First it was an infection in my colon then they tossed around pelvic inflammatory then they said maybe crons but no prove of any of these things. Anyone have same problems with any success of a real reason as to why its happening?

I just looked it up on google....Because I feel sooooo sick right now..I have not got my period yet but am not expected to get my period until tomorrow, but I also have nooo cramps. I almost think I am pregnant, but at the same time lately (last couple months) its been the same..no cramps, yet sooo sick. It scares me, because stressing out makes your period even longer..ugh. I hate this feeling. Is this "normal" to feel this way.

It could be fibroids. I have all the symptoms people have been describing above and it took the Practice Nurse (not the Doctor I might add) to identify the probably cause. She prescribed Tranexamic Acid which I take for the first three days of my period and it seems to help a bit - certainly with the flow.
I'm waiting for results of blood tests and am waiting for a date for a uterine scan to confirm fibroids but it seems to be a likely culprit!

This is some of the worst pain ever! You never know when its gonna hit! Its always a week before my period! No one really understands what were going through? Right now I'm having a hard time with Drs listing to me about this. When ever I go through this pain, I'm scared to eat and I stay away from my coffee:o(. It happens when I eat or don't eat. It wakes me at night or in the morning. I take midol, even rolaids or tums? Seems to help. The other day I was sooo done with this and felt soooo much pain that I took a muscle relaxer. It helped. I'm just sooo tired of this pain:o(. One of the drs told me to start birthControl to stop ovulating. I'm pretty such ovulation has something to do with this.

I definately feel your pain. I'm 30 years old and I've had painful cycles since I was 12...although it has never been THIS painful. I suggest you talk to your doctor about cysts/tumors/fibroids.

I started getting stomach cramps 3 days ago; which made me think that I caught a stomach bug or a virus. It seems every time I ate something I would start cramping up. It did not feel quite like menstrual cramps...until I got my period this morning. I now have horrible lower abdominal and back pains. Another symptom is vaginal throbbing (not in a good way). Usually an 800 mg Ibuprofen and a heating pad take the pain away, but it doesn't seem to be working.

My dilemma is that I do not have any health insurance -- I am currently looking for employment. I cannot afford to see my GYN to discuss these problems. I'm a bit scared that I may have another cyst/tumor/fibroid. I had surgery 6 years ago to remove a 7.1cm ovarian cyst that was twisting my right ovary...

Late reply, but lady, you don't have to get rude to people here. How would you like it if someone talked nasty to you over a subject like period pain? Get a grip! This isn't yahoo questions or youtube where you can hide behind that computer screen and talk a load of smack.
