I am 206 pounds! Im 12 years old. Its summer time and this is what im gonna do. 3 hours of swimming a day, burns fat. 2 hours of cardio. 1 hour of toning. hour and a half of legs. DO NOT cut down on eating because your body will think that you are starving. i gained 20 pounds doing that. you have to eat every 3 hours, drink water too. after working out dont eat junk! ( i learned that everyone has a 30 min clock that if you eat healthy after that you will have a better work out) i read in 17 this girl lost 100 pounds! in the summer) 100 pounds may be chubby for your height but by your growth spurt you will be lean, promise!) I am dealing with the same problem too but all i do is every morning and night i do pushups and situps and just a week later i lost 4 pounds so that mighjt work for ya. :-D

But Ive Done Alot Of Research On Weight, Youd Be Suprised How Much I Know.
I wouldn't say I'm too fat, just over the weight i want to be. :-(
My 2 Best Friends are rakes, and when we all go out shopping they wear tight tops but i have to wear loose ones, its not fair :'(
What Helps Me To Loose Wait:-
1. Write Out A Diet Plan On Possible Low-Calorie Foods (E.G, Low-Calorie Breakfast)
2. Do at least 1 hour of excercise per day (Try and make it fun E.G, Trampolining, Wii-Fit)
3. Ask for a smaller plate at meals, Somehow your brain thinks to eat less with a smaller plate
4. Instead of Fizzy-Drinks and juices, try water.
5. Drop the high-calorie ice-creams for ice-lollies (most lollies are under 50 calories, and you still feel like your consuming a treat) Although only 1 a day, if your going on a diet. For Instance a magnum = 250Kcal but callipo = under 100 calories.

You guys are focusing on your WEIGHT!!! Okay so everyone is always dying to lose those few extra pounds! The reality is that muscle weighs more than fat. If you are doing the wrong exercises then you will not see a decrease in your actual weight but you may actually be losing the fat and replacing it with muscle. I am 25 years old now. When I was a teenager I was as well around the 150-160lbs range. I was SOOOOOO insecure!!! But the reality is that if you like this boy and he don’t like you for you then he doesn’t deserve your time!!! Why change yourself for someone else unless you are willing to change it for yourself FIRST????? And baby doll being only 12 years old, your body hasn't really started molding itself yet into the fantastic person you will become. There is such a thing as baby fat. I ended my freshmen year in high school a joke!! I was fat...so I thought (5ft 1" and wore a size 16 in the 9th grade) and I didn't dress right for my body!! I was short, fat, and poor and I got teased all the time. Then when I came back for my sophomore year and my body started changing and by the end of the school year I had totally transformed. I was a cheerleader my junior and senior year, I was homecoming queen my junior year and I was Prom queen my senior year!!! And guess what... I still wear a size 12!!!! I transformed into a CONFIDENT person. And there is nothing sexier than a confident woman!!! Just ask my super hot jock blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyed husband why he married me and he'll tell you that I am the sexiest person he has ever met!!!! I’m not thin but I’m not fat!!! As long as you are healthy then there is nothing wrong with some extra cushion!!! THERE IS NOTHING WE CANNOT ACHIEVE IF WE JUST HAVE SELFCONFIDENCE AND LOVE OURSELVES ABOVE ALL ELSE!!!!!!!

I'm so glad to hear that you've got so much confidence! I really wish that I could take this post and print it out and show it to everyone. WEight doesn't mean anything! It's only a number to tell us how big you are but it doesn't tell us what you look like. Have you considered talking to teens about this?

Yeah I have younger siblings that I have had this convo with. It really is amazing how much emphasis the media and people in general put on a persons weight. A person’s personality should actually prevail over someone’s outer appearance in any given circumstance. Truthfully, I am very saddened by the fact that our blossoming beautiful preteens are ridiculed and humiliated about their weight so bad that they are willing to do anything to be "thin"!!! I hope that people start to understand that all of this nonsense is making our youngsters SICK!!! I hope all turns out well for the young lady who began this topic ;-), just remember sweetie whatever your decision may be, love yourself first and always remember NOONE has the right to say you are not beautiful!!! And it's up to you to show the world (and the boy) just how beautiful I’m sure you are!!!!!

welll...the thing is i am actually not overweight...and when ever i comment on pages like this people sometimes say that i am being mean because, i am a lot skinnier than most people on this page and i am calling myself fat...the this is i am 4' 11" and weigh anout 85-90 lbs. ...bmi of about 17.5-18.3ish and i feel really fat cuz i have a lot of fat on my stomach... any advice on how to lose like 5-10 pounds in 2 weeks...pleez

Well okay if you feel like you have fat on your stomach, you don't want to lose weight. You want to get in shape. If that's the case, just start doing some exercise like walking or running or take up a sport. But if you lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, that's very unhealthy and you can make yourself sick doing that. I would say that the best way to lose weight is to diet and exercise. How old are you and how tall are you? You need to determine how much you're eating per day. Can you tell me that?

I do soccer, basketball, swiming, and a little softball. I walk with my friends 2 the park stores anywhere close I eat less then my 85lb friend eats and you know what I'm not loosing ANY weight and people dont say you need to diet and c**p cause if you diet before you finish growing you wont be as tall as you usually would have been. im 5'4" and going into 7th grade im 142.2lb i sucks but you know i have great friends and I beleave That I'm just a late bloomer I'll do work out tapes and I always will but I;m not going to cry over what ppl think there just plan jerks if they tease you and you shuld just act like they arent saying anything because its like your reaction to what they do is fueling them up just to hit you down again. When ever my brother makes fun of me (hes great really well know he is sence i dont care what thinks he stoped) I ignore im and he hasnt eased me for a whole 4 months its great lol keep me posted and tell me if you have any ideas!!!!! :-D
