Hi there, first of all--stop worrying about your weight. Just look at how you look. Be happy with how your body looks, and don't worry about what the actual weight is, because that can drive you crazy. The best thing that you can do is track your calories. Find out how much you eat per day, and that way you can figure out how much you need to take in to lose weight. Does that make sense?

I have the same problem i weigh 108.2 lbs at 12! People tell me im skinny and truthfully im not, i may look regular sized and all but i feel obese and would love to weigh 85 what can I do ?

I Had the Same Problem but I weighed 140lbs and when I got older like now in my 19's My Body Stretched and im quite happy now. More boys are starting to talk to me...Haha Which is good :-D. But Hun Dont be worried what people think. I did this for nearly most of my teen years and it got me no where my confidence was discracefull.. I know what you mean about Joining clubs your worried what people will think they will laugh at you or look at you weird and youl be the one left out and sad. And you know your confidence isnt great because your afraid that if you get laughed at your confidence will decrease. Its Hard Loosing weight. The Best thing to do is to lay of the fatty foods. Start drinking water and walk more. You dont have to over do your self with the gym..sure it helps but walking down to your local store is as good. I understand what your going through its tough but your still a kid your body is stil growing give it time babes...And then youl be laughing in the End as long as you stick to the right things... :-) Good Luck.

P.S Anyone that teases you is not confident in themselfs it dosnt seem like that at the time but you will understand when your older :-)

i know how u feel i have the same problem. but F word to the other girls if they make fun of u theyre just jelous that when they get older they'll be oversized umbalumpas and ull be a good looking super model! and ask that boy out if he rejects u he doesnt deserve u! and if u have siblings ask them if they can help u and ur parents can help u go on a diet Good Luck!

OK trust me on this im a personal trainer is really easy about 3 to 5 time a week go for about a hour long run or power walk wake up before school at like 5:30 so its early do want to lose weight or not and eat healthy foods not mcdonalds or that stuff maybe you can go to fast food resturant once a monthif you can if your on a long car ride i understand so eat healthy foods and 3 times a week do power walks or runs simple right! so just do that and your young you can lose weight really fast so dont worry and if you cant get girl grow long hair they dig that :-D

hey i am a 11 year old and i weigh over 120 and my friends always think about me being fat when it comes up i hate it when people be mean to n=me about my weight. when i am at school for luch i always eat two icecreams i think i will cut it down i am so :$
so i think that i am really fat

Did you gain 30 pounds in one month? You didn't, right? Therefore hon, you can't lose it..

:)

Losing weight is a process (the same as gaining it) - it is "healthy" to lose approximately 1-2 pound per WEEK.

And this is possible only by PROPER NUTRITION:

rich in proteins, veggies and fruits, (to the poster above - eating one ice cream instead two)
eating breakfast
eating 4-5 small meals (do not eat 2 big meals instead - it is a fatal error for losing weight) - a small meal is a sandwich (put in plenty lettuce; and for god's sake no mayonnaise); a small meal is an ice cream (indulge yourself from time to time - but not every day); a small meal is an apple; a small meal is an energy bar - do you get where I am going?
drinking water (1,5 liters a day) and not drinking juices and sodas and beers (alcohol is a weight gainer too)

AND

EXERCISING - for losing weight - perform cardio workout!!!!!
Start with small steps - if you are not used to exercising - start with fast walking - at least 45 minutes a day. Eventually you will start with slow jogging.

First week 3 days a week, second 4 days a week, third 5 days a week - on sixth week you can either continue with 5 days a week or you can add one more day, but remember - it is very important to rest at least 1 day a week.

Stay hydrated during training, and remember to eat a small meal approx. 1-2 hours before training (better 2 than 1 hour) and at least 1 hour after training.

Guys - there is no magic pill - most of you know what should be done - so get movin'.

Head up - perhaps they can call you "fat" today, but if you do the work, in a matter of month or two, you will look gooood

hey i no exactly how it feels i am 144lbs. and am trying very hard to loose weight all i have to say is do stuff that you like doing to.
Maybe go for a bike ride or a swim for an hr.
Then do 25 crunches and 25 situps. This is what im doing and my family and friends can already tell a difference

I kinda have the same problem but P.E. really works, we had to do the pacer, which is where you run a lot, and wow. :-) We are currently doing basketball, it's not tiring but I sure am losing weight. A few months ago, I looked in the mirror and I was very fat, and now when I look in the mirror, I don't look that fat. Also, you have to make sure you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and maybe a few healthy snacks if ur still hungry, because if you don't, your stomach will think ur starving, and the next time you eat, your body will have it made into carbs, which makes you gain weight that happened to me last year cuz I wasnt eating breakfast or lunch :$ but I stopped and I make sure I eat now so maybe that'll help XD

Age isn't the only factor, think about height.


A lot of these other suggestions are pretty good: exercise, healthy food (not no food), the works. And you have to be consistent about it.

PLS PLS PLS hlp me!!!!! :'( im a boy, and i know some peaple say girls have more body fat then guys but i am 157.2 pnds, 5 ft. i am trying to lose 50 pounds by next xmas but i have no idea wht to do??????? >;) i have tried to eat healthy but i cant get enthusiastic because my mom and dad are fat and they try to help me but they dont do anything about thmselvs. >;) i have tried exersising for 1 hr 4 three months in the summer but it all came back durng school,even when i hade gym for 1 hr a day??? ie tried drinking 12 cups of water but no results.i tried asking but nobody knows what it is like. nothing works, so pls pls pls help me!!!
