How Did U Get Pregnant??

This topic saddens me deeply. There are so many of us who have been trying, desperately for a long time, to have a child. If the 14-year-old doesn't want to keep the baby because of the future she could not provide, please allow the gift to those of us who have been waiting. :-(

that is really hard to shallow i would tell my parents they will be mad for a while but they will get over it they always do cuz at the end up happy. best of luck to you

hey Dove i'm 15 and i just had my bday june 4th so don't freak what i did is i went to my uncle's house and they sinced something was wrong so i told them and one of them took me home and talked to my mom for me i'm today 10 weeks pregnant so don't worry just find someone that will listen to you and that your mom will listen to and tell them... and yes i did hide behind someone because i have had scares in the past and i wasn't sure what she would do...if you are more able to talk to your father talk to him first and let him drop the bomb on your mom or the other way around...oh and here is a website for mothers-to-be and mothers....

hey honey i am 20 years old and i have a 5year old little girl and i love her to death and yeah i was young and so are you but do not go out and kill that baby because you will be killing a life. If your parents love you they will get mad at first and then they will look over it but you need to tell the boyfriend tho too.

Getting pregnant at 15, I can relate to you. I knew I was pregnant for 3 weeks before I finally cracked to my mother. The best way to tell your parents that you're pregnant is to just come out with it. DO NOT LISTEN TO WHOMEVER SAID YOU DO NOT NEED PARENTAL CONSENT FOR AN ABORTION. However, every state has different laws regarding pregnancy but there is NO state that allows someone under the age of 14 to have an abortion without parental consent. Many states do not need parental consent but they do need to know that the parent is AWARE that you are having the abortion. Speaking from experience, terminating a pregnancy at your age has its positives and negatives. There is a lot of emotional baggage that comes with post termination as well as you feeling like it's okay because you are so young and that is an excuse for your mistake.

The best thing to do is trust your parents, mainly your mother, she is the only one that can really help you in this situation other than yourself.

Please abortions are not the way to make your mistakes go way..because it will always be with you..so please stand up for your errors that you make.

having a baby is hard at any age i had my first baby at 18yrs my family were very supporting i was really scared to tell them but they came good in the end. my now hubby was shocked and almost passed out when i told him but we are still going stronge and my baby is 7yrs old and i have 2 more babies who are 5yrs and 2yrs .hubby was just as shocked when they came along. yes it has been hard and yes i git told i was ruining my life but i would not change one thing. abortion and adoption are hard choices to make and cannot be undone so please think long and hard before making them . good luck i am sure you will make the right choice for yourself.(and the baby)

I am amazed that the girls on here that are 13, 14, 15 and so on are showing more care and maturity then the women who are coming on here preaching the Lord's word. I wouldn't have dared tell my mother I was pregnant outside of wedlock even when I was 24 and engaged because of how she would have reacted. I understand how it can be scary to talk to your parents about certain issues.
You have option and there are professionals out there who can talk to you about those options and not be as biased as allot of people on this board.

i'm just shocked & amazed how many of u young girls are having sex and getting pregnant. u are too young! 13, 14 years old????? u have ur whole life to have sex. and then u find out ur pregnant & you freak out? well, yeah. cuz u had sex. i am 18 years old & i sure dont want a baby rite now which is why im on the pill & my boyfriend uses condoms. if you dont want a baby DONT HAVE SEX or use protection! i have a friend who had a baby at a very young age. guess where she is now? she dropped out of school and is now having ANOTHER baby even though she is 19. she is in a lot of debt & is on welfare. Do not put urself in this situation. and my take on abortion is... yes it is murder. there are so many couples who strive to get pregnant on their own & just cant. do u know how hard that must be??? if you dont want your baby or u just cant take on the responsibility give it up for adoption. if you dont want that baby, chances are, some one else just might.

Who CARES how much it is?! It's murder. If you don't have money or anything for the baby its called adoption. Even if you DONT have health insurance the adopting parents can be arranged to pay for all cost's. Why would you want to kill your poor innocent baby. And 20 isn't to young of a age. That's just cruel...

I'd really like to know what happened to the 14 year old girl and her baby! I'm sure the problem has been soulved(sp?) by now :-P

I have a debate at school about abortion and how its murder and all that. abortion is what you think of it. yes people think its murder, others don't. It's there own opinion, leave it at that?
Everyone is different and has there own belifes, yes you can tell someone your personal opinion about what YOU think, but in the end its their choice. All you can do is try and influcne their choice and sometimes what others think is the 'best choice' for others really isn't and sometimes it is.

I'm 17 and think I'm pregnant, I'm not even sure yet and yes I told my mom. Of course they're going to be upset, they weren't excepting a grandchild until your out of the house and standing on your own two feet. But, sometimes things happen, maybe by accident maybe not but stuff does happen. All in all, in the end, every thing lays in your hands. Thats what my mom said, 'this is your future, your body thats going to change, not your boyfriends, not ours, YOURS'

But not matter what, too all the girls who are scared to tell your parents. They gave birth to do, they want you to be honest with them, they want you to be confident in them, their your parents, they gave you life and ultimitly you are their resonsibility(sp?) until your out on your own so even if they make bad disitions, their only trying to look out for there little girl, cause no matter how old you are, to your mom and dad your always gunna be there little girl :-)
