HOW DO I GET BCBS TO PAY FOR METHADONE GIVEN AT A TREATMENT CENTER??

I am also having the same issue with BCBS-IL I go to a methadone clinic and they are telling me that the "type of provider is not covered for that type of service" even though in my coverage booklet it says under mental health that addiction services are covered for inpatient and outpatient? I know methadone the medication is also covered it's just going to the facility I go to I guess they don't like it or they just don't cover it. The messed up part is I know that there are other people at this clinic that have BCBS IL insurance and they do get reimbursed from these claims so I don't understand why construction union insurance that literally pays $2,400 a month won't cover simple methadone what a shame.

I sent in a claim from just like this I have BCBS IL and I sent in my receipts that are very similar to what you are displaying but they have an NPI number on them and I was told when they look up that doctor they are not a covered provider for that type of service my procedure code is also H0020 and 304.00 any help would be greatly appreciated I've been trying to get these claims paid out for years and no luck yet.

Not true a dr. Writes prescription and a nurse is ALWAYS there or they can’t be open.
