I was on HPV treatment and I am feeling ok for now, but how do you know that HPV is gone? I am also worried since I found out that HPV is related to cervical cancer. Should I make another appointment? Should I be worried about this?

Well, I don’t know how you’ve been treated so to be sure make another appointment. What type of HPV you had? Not all, but some types of HPV can infect a woman’s cervix and cause the cells to change. Most of the time, HPV goes away on its own and When is gone, the cervix cells go back to normal. However, sometimes, it does not go away. So, it lingers and continues to change the cells on a woman’s cervix and these cell changes can lead to cancer over time, if they are not treated.
