I am a dedicated cyclist. I like this sport and wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world. However I have injured my knee. It hurts and I cannot cycle for long or at higher intensity. I would appreciate your advice on this matter. I don’t want to stop cycling but also am not going to get far riding like this.

Working through injury has never been a smart choice. I suggest you talk to your doctor and stop cycling until it heals completely. Then you can start to train again. Otherwise you will increase your injury by training and never let your body heal. “Patience is a virtue of a warrior”, an old Chinese proverb says. Therefore you have to be smart and patient. Eventually you will be able to resume your workouts.
