I'm 13 I weigh around 55kg and I'm 163cm. Though my weight is supposedly healthy, I have fat every where. I am a girl. I am distressed with my image and because of it I cry and hate myself. Having moderate to severe depression doesn't help either. I used to get bullied in my old primary school and was called fat. I became thin very quickly. I have tried starvation. My family is naturally slim but I am not. I want to lose alot of weight.
Please help.
It's taking over my life.
And please don't tell me that I'm perfect the way I am and to just ignore it and be myself.

Hi Hanna. First let me tell you that starvation really isn't a good answer to your problem. It sounds as if you don't need to lose weight but Tone up your body. I would also like to point out that your depression won't get better if you don't seek help. Of course the depression could stem from your self image problems. Have you tried talking with Anyone at all about your image issues? You're only 13 and you will get almost no where if you don't reach out to people around you.
There are many many ways to tone up your body. You can do yoga, or core strengthening exercises. Have you ever heard of Pinterest? (www.pintrest.com) This site is safe for a young girl your age, you can look up just about anything on this site. Running a couple miles every other day is also a great way to tone up your body.
I find it very disgusting that children these days can be so horrible. I can't stand bullying one bit. You more than likely have self esteem issues as a result of all this, and you really need to work on building that up. Once you start "working out" and toning your body up, you will start to feel better about your self. You should get a dry erase board and stick it in your room either by your bed or a mirror you use, and write on it "I AM BEAUTIFUL" or any other saying that you believe is beautiful about your self. Could be your personality, your eyes or even your hair.
I say this all the time, Don't Let The Harshness Of Others Get You Down. (I know how hard it is to hear that) But just remember, when someone is making fun of you, number 1. When a finger is pointed at you-they have 3 pointing back at them and 2. They are unhappy with THEMSELVES in some way shape or form & they want to make every one around them miserable because of it.
Hanna I wish you ALL the luck in the world in becoming who you truly want to be, in a healthy way.
