Hi, I'm almost fourteen and I was wondering how I can stop myself from over-eating. I used to never eat candy or soda before sixth grade, but at my middle school, we have off-campus which led me to start eating unhealthy. I actually would rather eat candy and junk food than normal food and I usually do whenever I'm home alone or I have the option which is quite frequently. I've gained quite a bit of weight, but it could just be puberty. I'm now trying to be more healthy to not only look better, but to feel better, by exercising and trying to maintain a healthy diet. However I seem super prone to over-eating and only eating absolute c**p. I'm also a total fangirling Directioner/Sheerio so I tend to spend a BUNCH of time on my computer. It's getting to a crazy point where I have to almost constantly watch Netflix or Hulu. Think Mike Teevee from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. How should I stop?

i wonder how one is not able to stop herself from over-eating. but now i get to know that it is a serious issue. try counting your calories and once you have enough stop eating and junk food which adds to your calories. keep yourself busy in different things so you don't get much time for over-eating.
