im having doubts wether to continue this pregnancy because i am scared about complications with my sgall stones. i have 7 and the largest is 1 cm.. i dont know what to do.
I had gallstones and didn't realize it until I had had several attacks throughout my pregnancy. Finally at 8 months they did an ERCP and took out the stones that had come out of my gallbladder and opened something that would allow the stones to fall through if any more came out. The attacks were very painful, and I had only had one prior to becoming pregnant, so when I told my OBGYN about it she kept telling me it was heartburn!! Anyway, after the ERCP I just stopped eating all fatty foods for the rest of my pregnancy and never had another attack until after I had my son. he is now 9 and I just had my gallbladder removed in January (I hate surgery!) I had a few attacks over the 9 years, but never as may or as frequently as I did when pregnant!
