i have sharp pains in both breast and nipples

for the last two weeks ive been experiencing sharp, sudden pains from inside both breasts radiating out to the nipple area. they are very sharp, should i be concerned? i am a diabetic. i am 38 and also havent had a period for about 3 years since having a surgery (uterine/fibroid/embolization)
