Sorry but you're very incorrect. It isn't as strong as meth or heroin but you bet your ass you'll have some withdrawal symptoms if you're a daily smoker over the span of 20 years. Come on.

In my experience as a long time pot smoker who recently quit, it's more mental then physical. I too went thought symptom of throwing up, depression, mood swings and lack of appetite. These symptoms didn't last long but it did mess with me. Keep a strong will to quit and it will eventually stop. Try working out or going outside more to keep from wanting to smoke. Hope this helps.

17% of users experience this symptom along with others including headaches and nausea, so the person above me is incorrect AND rude.

I'm a daily, heavy user who also experiences "withdrawal". Mostly nausea and vomiting once or twice when I abstain.

I was a daily hardcore, half quarter a day user for a decade and when I quit I landed in the hospital with a severe headache, thought I had a tumor it was so bad.It turned out to be an extreme case of sinusitis, which through research found out you can get from quitting heavy marijuana use. I also had severe night sweats, vomitting, nausea, irritability and disassociation disorder. Marijuana is illegal in most places hence the lack of studies until recently, it has been scientifically proven to have withdrawal symptoms with new studies. Due to a health condition I have my medical license and when obtaining I had to sign a waiver stating I was aware of the addictive properties and withdrawal symptoms that marijuana causes. People need to educate themselves instead of commenting blindly. 95 percent of my withdrawal was physical, 5 percent mental. Good luck to all, the journey is tough but well worth it in the end!

Disagree, whole heartedly. Mental addiction can override physical addiction, hence mind over matter. If someone has been in smoking routinely, and develops a 'need', physical withdrawal symptoms will be present, granted it ain't heroin, but you will have night sweats (if you've routinely smoked before going to bed), or nausea if you you're used to eating your meals under the influence of the munchies.

Dude! My dreams have become vivid. No bs. I really dreamt I was chilling with Kanye West. We were walking on the freeway together. And some other brothas I didn't know. Neway, this sh*t sucks. I'm out, peace.
