The sweats are very true as is all your other symptoms.. I don't think it's the weed that's the problem tho but rather the abuse. When I smoke only socially it's more fun and I have none of these symptoms when I don't smoke for the next couple of weeks. Everyday is the bad thing

I was an extremely heavy smoker, as well as dabbing. It has been a little over a week for me of not smoking and the withdrawal symptoms have been worse for me than anything else I have ever quit, besides cigarettes. I have had sporadic insomnia, when I have never had trouble sleeping in the past. My anxiety is out the roof. My hands and feet are sweating so excessively that it drips from my hands. This isn't constant, it comes in waves. I have felt like I am going to have a panic attack. My breathing has been difficult at times. I have absolutely no appetite. I have been forcing myself to eat and still lost ten pounds in a week. The nausea that comes and goes is intense although I haven't thrown up yet. I had always heard my whole life that you can't physically be addicted to weed so I just assumed that there would be no physical withdrawals like this, but boy was I wrong.

I understand and I agree with you, I quick 4 days ago and got sick as a dog. I been drinking pedialyte and am trying not to get dehydrated because if you do you need to go to the hospital for an I.V. I have lost 13 lbs in the 4 days because of not being able to eat so I try to keep hydrated and stay out of the heat direct heat and at times to take a cold shower too, hopefully this would help someone.

Hey dude, no problem , i was a smoker since i was 14. my dad smokes as well. so last year i decided to quite Pot and it was really crazy. headache, insomnia ( i could sleep but very bad and lots of vivid dreams), i had feeling like Flu the whole time, sweating and panic attacks plus anxiety. Headache wouldn't be longer than three days, but insomnia is dependent on your mental situation, for me after three days was alright. flu feeling was around one week , anxiety as well just one week and afterwards just craving and nothing more. so must important thing is that you should change your habits. do sport , meditation helps as well, watch movie at the night or read a good book before sleeping, spend time with friends who don't smoke pot and work, i started to work like a crazy that helps a lot.

Good luck

Thank you, I know this thread is so old, but I have been feeling crazy that my head would hurt so bad to quit. I am a long time user throughout the day, I tried to quit 2 years ago. I made it 4 months and legit had a migraine every day. I felt like nails were being hammered in to various parts of my brain and no amount of Advil or prescribed medication would fix it. It felt like I wasn't even in my body it hurt so bad. One day I decided that I didn't want to have to live that way and I caved. The headache was gone the next day. But I hate how much I need it to function. I can't eat or sleep without it, night sweats and chills, brutal dreams, and basically irritability to the point I hate everyone. I guess I just hope someone can tell me when the headaches finally go away? 4 months didn't do it for me. Is this psychological at 4 months sober?? I don't want this life. Truly. So please can someone tell me what to do??? Sober and present is how I want to live. Please help.

How do you explain the 3 days of vomiting and splitting headaches which started the day after I stopped smoking...I would say 'normal' or even 'heavy' use probably doesn't, but 20-30 years of smoking the highest grade bc weed and I tell you...it is real.
