A useless post from an ignorant person. So the symptoms he, and many others, are discussing here should all just be dismissed because you blindly refuse to believe that cannabis can have a negative effect?

These people have been consistently topping their system up with a chemical for years - upon no longer receiving this chemical input they are clearly having considerable effects. Whatever you want to technically classify this as, they are physical effects resulting from an addiction. If this is a mental addiction it is still causing physical effects. So your dismissive little comment was as insightful as it was helpful; not at all.

Obviously no actual evidence or credible sources to give, undoubtedly got this opinion from other naive individuals posting pointless pseudo facts online.

I've been a heavy smoker for about 8 years. For the past 3-4 years I've been smoking an ounce every 10 days. Only Times in those 8 years I've stopped have been when I went on holiday for a couple of weeks and when my dealer got busted and I couldn't score and lastly was about 6 weeks ago when I went on holiday in Japan for a month and then my mates wedding. The first week in Japan was chaos. Wasn't able to keep down any food for longer then 10-15 mins. It got worse and eventually I wasn't able to even take down any fluids. Ended up in hospital for a couple of days. But slowly i got better. I lost 7kgs in about 10 days which was a shame cause I'd put on 12kg in the past 12 months. But I was able to eat small meals and keep them down. By the fourth week I was pretty much 100% back to my 18 year old life of the party self. I don't think I've spoken to and had as good a time with so many people. Been back 2 weeks now not looking back

Headaches and nausea from not smoking pot is definently real. I experience this myself

I know...... Loads of helpful stuff on here, but the 'special & different' ones who don't get any withdrawals are either superhuman or in absolute denial!

When younger and went without it of course it wasn't as bad..... The worst was anxiety/no sleep, but nowadays it's TERRIBLE.... The worst of all the symptoms has to be the dry wretching + bad stomach (for me)! Absolutely unbearable so hopefully it will get better over time and maximum respect to those who shared their experiences.... Nice 1/All the best...

I have been smoking for the last 7 years. I smoke as soon as I wake up and after every meal. I've quit several times for months at a time to get jobs. Let me tell you, withdrawal is real. I'm a very healthy person, I go to the gym every day after my full time job. I eat very well. At least 3 meals a day. I just recently quit again to get a new job and it's been only 3 days and it's been horrible. Every day I wake up feeling nauseous and have head aches throughout the day. I even get chills in the mornings. Usually I don't feel sick at all. So for those of you who don't think marijuana withdrawals are real, you're wrong. It is real. Just thought I'd share my experiences.

I work in rehabilitation and marijuana users who smoke everyday then give up straight away exhibit similar withdrawal symptoms to hardcore drug users, im sorry but if you're one of those people who think marijuana isnt physically addictive its because you either dont smoke enough or you get low grade marijuanam sorry not sorry

Your body can become dependent on it. Read something before you spew your ignorance into the world.

I feel the same way. Have been smoking for 15 years regularly and if I don't get to smoke I get really, really nauseas. Thas really my only symptom but it is definitely related to my smoking and it most definitely is a withdrawl.

I wonder if the sweats are from the nicotine in the blunt wrappers? Or is everyone feeling this quitting pot? This is what I went through when I quit cigarettes. However i never had this withdrawal from pot and im a long timer who has quit very easily when needed (unlike ciggies which my body went thru hell detoxing.) Just curious who has been ingesting nicotine with their weed and if that could be why.

Not to be a penis but it should be pretty easy not to smoke if unemployed. When I was a little bit younger I was going to school after I just lost my job and I was Finding creative ways to get weed for giving rides home. But we make poor choices man. I'm just quitting again myself. It's a pain the ass. But It doesn't even compare to what I went through with alcoholism 12 years ago in a prison cell after DUI. I was smoking minimum 2 to 3 ounces of medical grade a month yet again. At some point we got to stop making excuses for ourselves and use willpower. You gotta start somewhere. I have to wrestle with the notion again and again can I avoid falling back into over using it? No. I cannot. I love the sh*t. But I've quit 4 times long term. The best parts of my life have been without it not with it. Don't fool yourself into thinking that it's going to fix things.
