I experienced the same thing!!! I was used to smoking on a daily basis. Everytime I went home from college, I'd get sick sometimes, especially after eating. I munch a lot when I'm high, almost high for every meal of the day otherwise I have no appetite, maybe my body is used to eating while high and doesn't like going cold turkey so quick. But that's why I'm here, it's monday, and I haven't smoked since friday. Saturday night, i threw up 7 times after having a beer which is not like me at all. I stopped drinking, and continued to throw up. Sunday, same thing, no appetite. Threw up maybe 3 times, but there's hardly anything to throw up. Todays monday about 3:00 pm and i've already thrown up 6 times. Drank water and not 5 seconds later it was on the ground with some stomache acid. I know weed has no physical addiction what so ever, and should mention I haven't needed or wanted to smoke necessarily. But is it maybe possible my body got used to performing daily routines certain ways with weed, causing my stomache to get screwed up? I find it too coincidental that something similar to this happens everytime I stop smoking for a min. If it is, how long until I stop feeling like sh*t? If not what else could I be doing simultaneously everytime I quit that might be causing this? Thanks for reading anything helps :)

I so feel this post. I was a big stoner from Feb-May. Smoked about 2g a day . Withdrawals hit me hard but I'm fighting thru . Lesson learned is that tbh there's no point of smoking more and more , you'll get super tolerant and shjit

It's great to see so many other people that are experiencing cannabis withdrawals, it can be a very isolating experience..
I started smoking weed when I was 11 years old, and now I'm 27, trying to quit for what seems like the 10th time. The longest I ever quit was when I joined the military as a teenager, but I don't remember withdrawal symptoms back then, maybe because I became an alcoholic at that point instead?
When I quit/run out of weed I notice the following symptoms..
1) Manic mental state - it's like I've been dosed with 1000mg of caffeine and my mind starts to go into overdrive.
2) Insomnia - Say goodbye to a good nights sleep for ATLEAST 1 week
3) Loss of appetite - When I do get hungry I can't eat the food in front of me - food tastes bland
4) Anger/Irritability - I could happily beat a man within an inch of his life (thankfully I don't actually do that)
5) Some diarrhea - yaaay
6) Depression/Boredom - Nothing is fun anymore without smoking weed along with it
7) Rich dreams - This is actually something I like, I start having rich, fantasy like dreams some nights when I finally get over the insomnia. They feel fulfilling somehow...

Also this time around I have flu like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, blurry vision, groggy head, lethargic).. It started after the 3rd day. I think it may be the stress my body is under lowered my immune system?

Thank you for posting this. I feel our situation is vaguely similar. I have been smoking for about 8 years and about 5 years ago I started smoking heavily everyday. I am a working professional that is pretty successful and only in the past year has my weed consumption skyrocketed. I decided to quit smoking 4 days ago and I am MISERABLE. I am nauseous, sick all day, can't sleep, and soooo irritable. I am going to stay the course like you mentioned- but I wanted to ask if the withdrawal symptoms gets any better? I am SO SICK of people saying that weed withdrawals are not real. They are full of sh*t!

Thanks for your post I too have been smoking for a long long time quitting used to be easy I did it all the time I was a daily smoker the best northern California had to offer but for the last year about every three month's I get what I thought was stomach flu.The only thing that helped was a very hot bath.Well now it seems it was from to much pot I read the study's and I now am a six day clean person ,this really sucks however I'm tired of going to the E.R.so no more for me it's very tough can't sleep much yet ,I miss it very much but I'm on my way one day at a time oh yea I'm 65 so it has been awhile since 1968 .

Personally have dealt with physical withdrawal before. Depends on how long, how much, and your body type.

I recently quit smoking about a week ago and man do I feel awful. I feel physically sick my appetite is horrible I still have headaches every day and nausea. My situation is very similar to years I've smoked marijuana for over 20 years on a regular basis. How long does it take before you start to feel better? Are you still not smoking? Also congratulations on your decision and thank you for sharing your story.

I'm so thankful and happy to see your post. I am going through all of the same with drawls and symptoms. It's been one week since I smoked and I used to smoke about 5 g a day every day. My body hurts my stomach is so upset and I've lost a bunch of weight In just one week. The first three or four days I swore I had the flu those symptoms have gotten a little better but my appetite is still horrible, my body is sore all the time and I have a never ending headache. How much longer do you think this will last?
