Thank you so much for updating. I spent all day yesterday back and forth to the bathroom vomiting. Now starting day 3. I am so sad, so teary and hopeless. Apart from about a year of sobriety following rehab, and a two year break while pregnant and breast-feeding, I have smoked numerous joints every day for probably about 20 years now. It is my best friend and enemy, my hope and my despair.
My daughter is neglected by me when I smoke and become lazy and watch tv with her or go outside for a 10 minute break (3 times an evening). It breaks my heart when I am sober. I need to stop for my girl. But man, only 3 days and I am a mess.
Thank you for your hope!!!!

Yes it does I know firsthand and even doctors have the science to back it now. It's not to say it's not a viable plant medicine for a lot of us, but withdrawal is real. I say this as I'm dry heaving and unable to eat because I ran out and unable to replenish my medicine for a couple weeks.

I was looking for a scientific reason why I felt like throwing up... Just alot of people complaining. Or dogging on others

Cannabis has no physical addiction, however ingesting large quantities of THC on a daily basis--then ingesting none will have a physical effect on your body. Just like eating McDonald's for a month, then not eating McDonald's for a month will have a physical effect on your body.
This is science. That is how that works. Same thing goes for soda.
And in the modern age, there are very potent cannabis concentrates, some reaching more than 90% THC. This has led to the understanding that THC can lead to physical dependence. But this dependence last such a brief amount of time (A week at most). The side effects from habitual cannabis use, then stopping use… Include short-term memory loss (Ironically enough); insomnia; lethargy/cloudy feeling ; anxious behavior; hot flashes; skin blotching. (Range from person to person; genetics)...None of which are side effects serious enough to be worried about.
The fact is, cannabis is a fantastic plant for recreational purposes. And even better for medicinal purposes. But anything can be abused, and many people are abusing cannabis. The reality is just that people abusing cannabis is not that big of a deal. There's a bigger problem with caffeine addiction right now
But please be informed before you try to make such a blatant pseudoscience comment.

Well I'll give my 2 cents on this... I started smoking when I was 15 (I'm 28 now) and I've quitted a few times, due to various reasons. But it's been almost 5 years since I last quitted and I usually smoke only at nights for recreational purposes, after I'm done with my job and obligations.
One thing is certain, THERE ARE SYMPTOMS, whatever is the cause, doesn't really matter to me, what matters is that I had symptoms but THEY GO AWAY IN TIME. KEEP THIS IN MIND.
Nausea, headache, mood changes, not sleeping well, intense dreams. (going to the bathroom was a bit bad as well)
What helped me quitting was planning ahead of doing so. I'm not the type of guy that exercises or goes to the gym, I usually play video games, WoW, games in general in my free time but, I bought a bike so I could ride at the time I used to spend getting high or felt a craving. Find things to occupy your mind and body, GET OUT OF HOME, go see people, go have dinner somewhere you like, go to different places. It's been a month now and I do feel better, and don't have more symptons at all. I feel an overall increase in my smell, energy and social relations, even talking to girls when I go to a club or a bar is easier (believe me).
I believe each organism reacts it's own way, we're all different from each other, so what I experienced during my "recovery" might not the same as you.
Keep a positive mind, whatever you're feeling it'll pass, and remember to find stuff to do meanwhile it doesn't. There's no shame if you need professional help as well.
Sorry about my grammar mistakes, I'm not a native speaker.
Peace

Rim going through the Nautilus morning, sleepless night, sweats no appetite etc etc. It's been 4 days and I'm struggling but I have a new born on the way and he/she is the reason I'm stopping! Need to continue biting the billet, I will get thru to the other side of this!

Do me a favor go smoke half a gram of 80% thc concentrate a day for a couple months then get back to me and tell me there are no withdrawls. People don't understand because they didn't get addicted smoking hitting their weak ass blunt a few times a day and pretending that's the daily use everyone has When you are high everyday from sunshine till you go to bed, there will be withdrawls, and they aren't fun.

I literally went through the same thing only I had to leave abruptly out of state and couldn't get any weed and the withdrawals hit me like a truck. Very serious in long term usage when you smoke 3 times a day like I did

Googled nausea without marijuana and found this page. Greatful and my new years resolution is to be done and take back the control. Use to dislike potheads then grew up with health issues and my parents talked me into smoking to help my heart
